That is a really tough question to answer.
I think I would want a 1965 Buick Riviera GS
But I would also want a Sunbeam Tiger and a 65 GT350
The have always loved the Olds 442
where to stop........

There are several advantages to using the stock K-H disc brakes:
- it is factory. The brakes match the car so getting replacement parts is a breeze.
- it is available
- it is a superior system
- it is reasonably priced
You have a great product.
Your link to your web site has an extra comma at the end, fyi
Steve, disc brakes were an option by the time your car was built.
Disc brakes were not an option on 64 1/2 K's.
and that convertible is an Oct 64 car too...not a 64 1/2
I want one too.
It might be next winters project.

I have seen this car and it is very nice:
Congrats....now you can buy Mustang parts again and the economy will really role
That was really interesting...thanks
There isn't a part number stamped on the fender.
The date code is about half way up and on the inner lip hidden by the hood when it is closed. Some of them are pretty faint. Mine are very crisp.
Personally, I would take the offer of the locker.
You won't regret it.
A locker is one of those things that makes the car neater to drive because of the banging and clanging around corners but if you get tired of it then it is an hour job to switch back.
Welcome to the true north, strong and free
Congratulations.
That is a neat story.
I think I saw this car at the SAAC show at Watkins Glen in 1992.
It looked nice then.
I have an 25 year old Motorcraft electronic regulator with an original cover on it.
It does not say it sold for $100k only that they asked $100k and it was sold.
It might have sold for $80k for all we know.

Thanks, are the 64 1/2 K Coupes rare, I heard numbers of less than 100 made? Some have said these are pre GT-350 and were kind of test cars for the Shelby's that we now know. I could not readily find anything online regarding.

People say many things. 64 1/2 K codes are definitely pre GT350.
A statement like the K code Mustang being tests for a future Shelby seems far fetched to me.
I have never heard that label before.
I have taken 2 trips to the drag strip. The last time was 3 years ago.
I really enjoyed it and would like to do it again. Problem finding the time though
Traction was a problem as well as my reaction times.
The 14.3 @ 100mph was with 3.25 gears. I now have 3.80 gears.
