Sorry, perhaps I should have be more specific in my request concerning available resources. I have a K-code coupe that I would like to sell. I am looking for an individual or individuals who would be interested in helping me establish a fair price. I assumed with the level of knowledge and love for the hobby expressed in the postings on this site, that I might find some assitance.

What resources are available on this forum to help someone determine what is a fair price for a 1965 K-code, GT, w Deluxe interior? It is a given that there are many variables and that particuliar information about the car would be needed and furnished in the evaluation process. So the baseline or beginning point is the general facts mentioned above.

Does anyone know of a source for a complete alternator feed and head light feed harnesses? I have purchased from a major aftermarket supplier and both harnesses are missing the butt connector for the condensors.

Here is another source, along with links to articles by Mustang Monthly

Does the hipo choke cable have a grommet where it passes through the firewall? If so is there a source to purchase one?

How is the clock stem and the tach zero screw removed to facilitate lens replacement? I haven't removed the case yet, but I wasn't sure that would be plain even after removal.

I am looking for the engine really. When I purchased the car 23 years ago it had a 67 289 w/ ps installed. It is a Kansas City car and the original owners manual was in the glove box with the dealership and salesman data listed. I live close to KC so I tried to do a title search to track the history but the states of KS and MO only release the data under certain cirumstances.

In the Mustang and Ford Small Block V8 book by Mr. Mannel there are references made to changes L10 and L11 on the 289 non HiPo head in 65 but the changes were not incorporated in the HiPo head till 66.
I have a set of heads, C5OE, F52 that appear to have those changes incorporated. I have seen examples of just the guide slots being machined, but I believe the changes on these heads are factory changes because of the additional circumference change to allow use of the smaller valve spring and the valve guide casting configuration is the later form.
Has there been cases of this early incorpaoration?

Does anyone know where to buy pigtails that are correct?
What I have seen offered from the normal vendor channel is:
Only the lamp housing grommet minus the grille grommet
The wire(s)are not correct - black zip cord instead of two individual wires - one grey and one black
And no black insulation sheathing surrounding both wires
