Hi, back on eBay again?
It is a different seller but at least he has put in seats and shiny wheels on it.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1965-FORD-…SsAAOSwRMhdLH5q
With all the work they have put into $24000 AUD?
It even looks to be in the same paddock.

Hi, this has been on eBay Australia for awhile now, seller states cheapest K code on the planet. Not my Kar and I am not travelling interstate to look at it but I am putting it here for all to see.
VIN is still there but no door tag but what can I say, $19800 AUD plus shipping back to the US this might be the car of your dreams(nightmare?)

Thanks for the replies. That is what I suspected. The plexiglass stay in, as a parts car is not so easily found in little ol Adelaide.

Hi Fella's, my Kar a 66 Fastback has 66 GT350 plexi glass windows instead of the side vents. Is this a bolt in swap or does some cutting of the body need to be done to fit these type of windows in? I bought a set of vents a few years back so I could change it back if needed.
So if and when I change it back to the vents is it as simple as bolting/ screwing it all back together or does some fabrication work need to be done?
Thanks Eddie

Hi, has anyone heard if Don has made these yet?

Hi, have you checked out Don Q's housings-http://mr-hi-po.com/1963-65-k-code-fairlane-and-t-bolt

Hi Fella's, being an auto Kar I see it has the rebound rubber on the rebound plate(floor). Very close build date to my Kar which also has the rebound rubber mounted in this position.
Cheers Eddie

Hi, I have given some possibilities as examples only. I accept the 5 speed/ AOD conversions is pushing it and should not be included.
I will be rebuilding my engine later this year or next year. Where I live I can't just go to the local auto parts store to get K specific parts. The Ford dealers only do parts for local cars up to 10-15 years old, no old Falcon let alone Mustang parts.
Myself like all the other overseas owners rely upon the internet/books and this site, to help choose the correct parts. For instance with con rod bolts I am hoping Fred has them available but to me they are a mystery- Summit don't list them, do Boss 302 bolts fit or do I take a chance and purchase 351 W square head bolts and hope these fit. I contacted ARP with this question and they didn't know the answer. The machine shop I use don't have the expertise with K engines and can't help either( It is tempting to use aftermarket rods because of the rod bolts).
I have only put the suggestion out there as an idea and have no intention of stepping on anyones toes. My idea was for a quick members only reference guide with which specific parts are currently available, Part numbers of these parts to assist with ordering, maybe some contact details, company- persons name to help with enquiries. Quality of the parts as well, no use buying specific parts if they are not serviceable due to age etc.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Hi everyone, This is just a suggestion, perhaps we could get a new forum section just for information regarding our Kars- F.A.Q section.
Like what rocker arms fit under stock covers( I know this has been covered and just needs a quick search but maybe just a quick reference area for what fits- timing components best pistons/ bearings, 5 speed/ AOD conversions etc, what is still available and maybe production change dates to help all members( i.e. logged in to view section ) choose the right parts for their Kars.
Regards Eddie
