Radials were available on Mustangs starting sometime during 1966 production.

Ford re-manufactured aluminum hi-po water pump. C5AE casting with what appears to be a 68 and 1 dot around the ring. Correct 3 hole hi-po impeller. Nice casting, has not been blasted or damaged. Ready to bolt on. $350 + shipping.

I doubt that the car being a T5 would add much more value over a comparable non-T5.

Post the list of parts and prices you are comfortable with here first and if they don't sell, put them on ebay.

I think the modern internals that are compatible with today's fuels are a huge plus for those of us that want the correct part and also want it to work.

This registry is run by my friend Klaus Schaefer in Germany. As far as I know, it is not affiliated with Jim Haskell or Jim Smart.

My observations are pretty much in line with Jeff's. The only thing I would interject would be that K code engines typically could lag a little further behind in casting dates than normal C or A code engines.

I have an extra harness. Tried to send an e-mail and it didn't go through. Use the 'send user e-mail' through my profile here.

What if everything was 110% correct and the economy was not a factor?? $100K may be??
There are a lot of factors that would play into a K convertible reaching that price. I believe the highest that one went for at a barrett jackson type auction was hi 70's. That's not to say the right car with the right provenance couldn't go higher.

Looks like it has a pretty good run spot on Friday, maybe late afternoon-early evening. I say it will bring at least $50k. Too bad there isn't an engine bay pic.

Anyone else notice the 289 badge placement on the fenders?

Just got done cleaning my august 65 build SJ k coupe rear leaf springs and found two red dots on the last leaf. both left and right are the same
That is the correct ID markings for a coupe with special handling package.

Dang! That has to be an all time high for a hi-po carb. Wonder what the NOS '65 I have is worth?

The recent fuel line routing made me remember I had an unanswered question about the rear brake line routing. Sometime in later '65 production, a clamp and screw were used to secure the rear brake line on the edge of the transmission tunnel at the rear. The metal line then turned up and went over to the bracket for the hose connection. On the earlier cars without the clip, I'm having a hard time finding a good reference pic. If anyone can help, would be much appreciated. Please, only pics of cars with original brake lines. Time period I'm interested in is around Feb. '65.
Thanks

Yes, my 66 k fastback, that I just finished restoring
I would suggest using the Arvinode floor hangers, but trying to configure the frame rails to work with the original '66 style dual exhaust hangers.

I can't remember exactly Rick, sorry! If I remember right, gray caulk was used.
