Here's another set of used rods that SOLD for $255.00.

    DESCRIPTION:

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A SET OF 8 RODS. THEY ARE A MIS-MATCHED SET, BUT ARE A RARE FIND. THEY ARE FROM AN EARLY HI PO ENGINE, AND HAVE 3/8 BOLTS, STRONGER THAN A NORMAL 289 ROD. THEY ARE 5.155 IN LENGTH, THE SAME AS A BOSS 302 ROD. 5 OF THE RODS HAVE FOOTBALL-SHAPED BOLTS. THE OTHER THREE HAVE RECTANGLE HEADED BOLTS. THE BOLTS FROM ARP ARE THE SAME FOR BOTH RODS. IF YOU BOUGHT GOOD BOLTS FOR THEM, THEY WOULD ALL MATCH. RODS WITH FOOTBALL BOLTS HAVE C3AE ON THEM RECTANGLE HEADED ONES HAVE C3AE-D ANY QUESTION JUST ASK.

Here's one that SOLD for $332.00...WOW!

    DESCRIPTION:

This is left over from a 1965 Shelby GT 350, but will fit other small block Ford engines. Part #C50F-12131-B. Good used condition. All wiring, clips and seal are there. I had this on a 1966 289 HIPO for some time, and it works great. Uses 2 sets of points and 1 condenser, which are included. It is manual advance only, as it should be. Great chance to have a correct distributor in your original Shelby or clone car.

Here's another set of used rods that SOLD for exactly $271.00. Some coincidence, eh?

    DESCRIPTION:

This is a set of 8 HiPo, 289 K Code rods with 3/8" bolts. They need to have new rod bolts pressed in, some of the old ones have already been pressed out. These are becoming more rare every day. C3AE casting number. These are one of the parts that make the K Code engine unique.

Here's another set of used manifolds that SOLD for $225.00.

    DESCRIPTION:

These are an original set of 289 HiPo exhaust manifolds and are in very good condition. I bought these but have decided to use headers instead. One of them was listed as being NOS, but I can't tell which one it is just by looking at them. They are both in excellent shape and very clean. The casting numbers are C7ZE-9431-A and C7ZE-0430-A. They only need studs to hold the exhaust pipes to them. I have seen other hipo manifolds like these sold on Ebay, but nowhere in this kind of condition. I have done nothing to these, there is absolutely no rust on them. Just bolt them on and go. These would make an excellent addition to a HiPo 289 or Shelby.

Here's another used set of rods that SOLD for exactly $300.00.

    DESCRIPTION:

This is a complete set of Boss 302 connecting rods. They will also fit the 271 hp High Performance 289. These were the only engines to use connecting rods that used 3/8 inch bolts to connect the rod caps. Also, the rod caps are thicker than standard caps, allowing for the higher horsepower put out by these engines. The cast numbers are C3AE. These rods are in very good condition. I plan on using a supercharger for my Mustang. Rather than risk destroying these original parts with the higher pressures a supercharger creates, I decided to use new forged rods. These would make a great item for an original Boss or HiPo 289.

Here's a set of used manifolds that SOLD for $503.00.

    DESCRIPTION:

I have up for auction a nice pair of 289 Hipo Exhaust Manifolds that were removed from a K code 1965 Mustang. Minor rust, no cracks or excessive pitting, manifold to head flanges square, studs are perfect. A little chemical bath or glass beads and they will be as good as new. They are marked with C4ZE9430A, and C3OE9431B, both with date codes of G2 after the casting numbers. They are correct for any K code Mustang, Fairlane, Comet, or that 1967 Shelby GT350 you're restoring. I see these sell on Ebay all the time for $500 plus and they are not as nice as this pair! I've set a low reserve so good luck!

Here's a full set of used rods that SOLD for $250.00.

Extra nice used HiPo 289 rods. Casting number C3AE-D. These are the early castings with the oil hole. I weighed each rod, and this is a matched set at 1 lb 7 oz. each.
