Here is an Ebay auction for a used 65/66 clone heater delete vent assembly by Ebay member "mustangmasters428" with a starting bid of $395.00:

Here we have a rather rare item, a Fresh Air Vent useable for a Heater box delete assembly for a 64-66 Shelby Clone Mustang or Falcon. This original Air Duct with door is paired with a aftermarket heater control dash blank-out plate. This item was used to reduce the weight of these early high-performance cars by replacing the heavy heater blower and related items with this light, fiberglass and metal assembly. The plastic dash blank-out plate was made to replace the cable control to finish out the look allowing you to remove the now-useless heater controls from your dash.

All pieces are in good condition, with a few easily repaired blemishes. The fiberglass on the box is intact and the door is easily opened. The plastic dash blank-out plate and the finish on both are in good condition with no damage. Ready to install with no work needed this is ready to go kit for that driver Shelby GT 350 Mustang or Falcon stock car owner.

Another bit of Mustang Racing Nostalgia that would be great for your parts closet ("Yeah, but do you have one of THESE?") or to be added to that original Mustang, Shelby, or Falcon! Whether you have a cloned GT350, or Hertz, or HiPo 289 Fastback, this replacement piece was standard equipment for these early factory race cars.

Here is an Ebay auction for a used Autolite Hipo distributor by Ebay member "mustangmasters428" with a starting bid of $495.00:

Here we have a good used C5OE FoMoCo Dual Point Distributor for a 289 High Performance engine, commonly used in Mustangs, Fairlane's, and Cyclones with these special 271 horsepower motors. Standard distributors were equipped with a vacuum advance pod on the side. These stock units had only 1 set of points unlike these high performance units which used 2 sets to get a hotter spark for increased performance. They also had a sleek distinctive look with NO vacuum advance.

This original distributor has some minor cosmetic issues although there are no extra holes or any modifications. You will find it is in good used working condition although we do suggest you use your judgement before installing. The lobes are crisp to snap both sets of points open as designed. No excessive play in the shaft, this unit has no visible signs of gouges, welds, or repairs. This piece can be used as is for a survivor car or could be a perfect candidate for a K code classic restoration.

This unit has the factory part number of C5OF-12127-E which was for the 65 66 models with a stamped date of 0F10 (Just in 1965 dated distributor as well as whole motor and coupe with original 9 inch rear.) Should this not be correct for your car we also have several other factory dual points available. Please check your application and if you are a high end show car owner please realize you might give extra time to function and or detail to meet your higher standards.

A great distributor for that buyer completing his motor whether it be on an engine stand or in a GT Fastback, even a Shelby clone. It's the real deal for those who own a 289 HiPo equipped Mustang or Fairlane. This is your distributor, don't miss out!

This 65 Mustang Koupe Rangoon Red with white standard interior is for sale by Ebay seller "mustangmasters428" with a starting bid of $5,000.00 and a Buy-It-Now of $9,995.00:

Here we have a 1965 Mustang K code 289 Hipo Coupe restoration project with out motor or transmission. This car was a survivor needing attention so 10 years ago it was covered with base coat paint to protect it and then like to 200+ cars we have it sat while we built others people's cars. Having shared that this is 1 Of 2 K code coupes I have and we are selling the Red one as the White K code coupe at the end is not part of this auction but will come later.

This is a car I bought some 25 + years ago from a mustang shop in Gainesville Florida called Ford Brothers and felt I would one day get to it . Well guess what I didn't, so I decided with the vast array of Fords and Mercury's numbering over 200 that I have it's time to send some to a better home and let these projects get done and make a new owner proud due to it's heritage. We have countless pieces for the restoration being a full service shop so add this to your garage and we'll give you a discount on the pieces whether mechanical, interior, or even exterior trim we have it all.

We are offering this true K code complete with title as is with no warranty ! Unfortunately the goodies were gone long before I made the purchase so that should explain the cheap price. You will need to have restoration experience for floors and more the car while all there as a rolling chassis will need a craftsman to bring it back to the former glory.

The pictures explain the rust which is present but not overwhelming and considering people pay crazy money for generic coupes this is a great investment. Note If you have a need I have plenty of rebuilt and used small block Ford Motors from the aluminum headed crate motors to stock 289 both 5 and 6 bolt bell housing.

We also have good used and rebuilt 4 speed transmissions both toploader and Borg Warner T 10's and for every Ford application. From Falcons, Mustangs, Galaxies to all the other performance and passenger car models. Should you need shifters we also rebuild them too from factory models including Hurst to the Hurst Competition Plus all complete ready to install. Heck we even rebuild them and take trade ins so give us a shout to work out a deal

I also offer rebuilt rear ends both 8 and 9 inch with or without posi traction. You name the gear we probably have it and can help there to. Should you need anything else just ask because after 40 + years of collecting I am sure I have it or know where to get it. Just saying I have a lot of stuff and love to buy and trade just ask anyone who knows me.

I would be wrong to leave off years of collecting NOS and of course a reproduction inventory which has over 100+ pieces of various sheet metal panels. I do have quite a bit of original metal but no inventory on any of it so lets talk.

If you have interest before or want them both just let us know as at Mustang Masters where we have countless parts and over 200 project cars which will be sold as is since we have given up the rebuilding process. By the way we even have a pair of Big Block Mach i's projects in the background. Again we buy sell and trade so give us a shout to make a deal as I trade up or down. Parts are even more interesting to me as I will trade parts or cars in for any of my cars.

This desirable classic is a pretty good start although its outside storage has taken its toll on the floors over the last 25 years. The exterior panels need minor repair although some might differ so lets say attention to body is needed.

Expect you will need lots of restoration to make it nice and like everything this old it needs work. You'll find the interior is pretty much all there and is in fair condition although it too will need detail attention or replacement to be brought back to life for the customer who wants to start at a deal and save. All glass is present along with the trim.

This is a whole car and will need a complete build although it is all is together it is in need of skilled craftsmen's attention. Please understand it is sold as is and will not be able to be returned. If you have any questions we will be glad to discuss this car in detail but be assured the value will certainly be well worth it in the end as this is a well optioned car. Easy to find just look for Mustang Masters we have been around since 1981 and are available for parts cars or even council just ask thanks Freddy

The superlative 1965 Ford Mustang 'K-Code' Convertible featured here is finished in stunning dark Ivy Green over a Black interior with a White power-folding convertible top. This exquisite Mustang convertible was delivered from the factory with the highly desirable K-code 271-hp “Hi-Po” 289 cu. in. V8 as well as a four-speed Top Loader transmission and factory air conditioning. This well-optioned, numbers-matching, K-code convertible represents one of the most iconic and desirable examples of American performance, sure to be prized by Ford or muscle-car enthusiast. I personally the investment potential of this iconic model will grow beyond your imagination, offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best!

Model History: In 1965, only a discerning few customers ponied up for the top-of-the-line high-performance package on Ford’s iconic pony car. Popularly known as “K-code”—in reference to the special letter designation in the VIN of Mustangs so equipped — the package included a 289 cubic-inch V-8 engine rated at 271 horsepower and a medley of performance items for a whopping $442.60. Except for the $283.20 air conditioning, no other Mustang option had such an impact on buyer’s wallets, which meant that K-code production was understandably low.

The car’s solid-lifter V8 was not the average Ford small-block. Inside its over-square, four-inch cylinder bores were high-strength flat-top aluminum pistons. These were linked via heavy-duty connecting rods with strengthened rod bolts to a more robust cast-iron crankshaft with an enhanced front counterweight to maintain high-rpm balance. Each cylinder head had enlarged intake and exhaust valves, while the engine breathed through cast-iron, header-type manifolds and into a standard dual exhaust system. A Special Handling Group helped make the most of all the power with heavy-duty shocks, springs, and a front sway bar.

65 Mustang Fastback Rangoon Red with black pony interior is for sale by Ebay seller "STREET DREAMS TEXAS" as a classified ad for $79,500.00 or make offer:

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the classic and muscle car business. When Lee Iacocca and Ford unveiled the Mustang to an unsuspecting public on April 17, 1964 there were some hints that the new car might be popular, but nobody was prepared for the stampede that followed. At least 680,989 Mustangs were sold in its first model year, setting an all-time record for first-year new model sales and becoming Detroit's greatest single success of the 1960's. This beautiful yet potent pony retains the classic styling that set the world on fire while offering immense improvements to its safety, comfort, and performance. Lift that long hood and you'll find a strong Sean Hyland-massaged DOHC 4.6L 32v V8 from the Mustang Cobra. Who said horses and snakes don't mix?! This all-aluminum, 6-bolt main bearing screamer was stout from the start, but this tuned version is FUN! Additional features include a Mustang II-type front clip with power rack and pinion steering, Hydroboost power 4-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood calipers and cross-drilled rotors, air conditioning, 5-speed manual transmission, a Strange Engineering Ford 9" rear end, reinforced chassis with welded subframe connectors, AM/FM stereo, Interior Decor Group, console, and classic American Racing 15" alloy wheels wrapped with Goodyear tires (215/60R15 F, 235/60R15 R). This thoroughbred gallops even faster than it could with its Hi-Po 289, with similar upgrades to its braking and handling. If this stallion belongs in your stable call the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams 830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
