Just a heads up If you look close at the gear it has two holes drilled for the pin that holds it to the shaft , this is an indication that that a gear was removed and pressed back on to the shaft and a new hole drilled and new gear and pin pressed in.
Good eye on the extra distributor gear hole, Chuck. Upon closer examination of the pictures, these appear to be pictures of two different distributors. Look at picture #8 where the last part of the word MOTORCRAFT is a mess. Compare that to picture #13 where the word MOTORCRAFT is very distinct. Also note the odd retainer pin for the distributor cap retainer clip. It does not match picture #8 and neither one is the correct pin with the split on the one end and a defined head on the other end. It appears to have some Permatex or something smeared on the pim and the casting. Maybe this is the same distributor with a better cleaning in the #13 picture.

1966 Mustang “K” Code original 289 in original signal flare red paint. I purchased the vehicle in 2022 from Illinois and his been garage kept in a climate controlled environment ever since. It was originally sold out of Graham Motors in Nebraska and had been part of the dealerships owners private collection, which is supported by documentation. It has a 347 stroker built by Prestige Motorsports in North Carolina in 2011. Motor features ported Dart heads and a Victor Junior intake with a full Msd ignition. Prior to my acquisition motor had approx 200 miles on it since build and I have added another 300 or so, build sheet with receipts included.
Motor- 347 stroker built by Prestige Motorsports in North Carolina documents to support.
Transmission- Has brand new T5 five speed with fully hydraulic throw out bearing, all parts from Modern Driveline, installed in 2022 all documents to support.
Suspension- Brand new front coil-overs with all new suspension components. Subframe connectors.
Wheels- Brand new us mag 17” wheels and tires installed 3 months ago.
Gauges- All new Autometer mechanical gauge cluster.
Exhaust- Unknown mufflers with dumps by rear axle, professionally done.
Cooling- Electric fan with serpentine belt.
Fuel systems- Brand new sniper 2 added last year with new fuel tank and in tank fuel pump, with all new braided fuel lines.
Body- There is zero rust on this car, the undercarriage is as if off showroom floor and paint appears to be original single stage. I get a lot of complements on this car when I take it out.

I may have made an error when I first added this to our forum. The seller may have claimed it as a GT at that time but they are not claiming it as a GT currently. Good catch on your part.

I never really looked this one over so there are things I am now seeing. Interestingly the buck tag shows this to be a GT and 6T09KGT has some valid comments. I do not see a hole in the firewall for the choke cable.
