That's a good question and I would say yes.Bob Tasca was the go to guy back in that day because he was an engineer for Ford and showed them what they could do come race day.Bill Healey was a well known tuner and worked for Bob so I would think that modifying a car to go racing would have been no big deal for them after he started the dealership. Most of the race stuff was contracted out by Ford but would like to know myself who besides the normal 3 companies modified the A/FX and S/S cars.I've got a factory or dealer prepped Hipo Mustang myself and it was done like the A/FX cars almost to the T.I've talked to some backed Drag Council guys and they tell me Ford had a stock class program for the Hipo Mustang but I have found some differences in the cars the way they were set up.

This guy won't sell that motor unless he finds the guy who is desperate and has deep pockets. It's been on E-Bay 4 other times for sale and didn't sell!

What color would have been used on an early Dearborn 64.5-65 car?
-
I would like to have a copy also?
-
I'm surprised as that is about all they are worth $650-750.Early stuff isn't worth what the Mustang stuff is but another classic example of someone who probably thinks they are priceless!

Still looking for heads?

This is kinda off the beaten path but I noticed your floor is painted black and wondered why?Isn't the bottom side of 65 Mustang suppose to be red oxide primered?

Usually on the right hand side of the X brace. The numbers are not incised as they were stamped from the top inside and are usually backwards.Let me know what you have...Thanks

Am looking for a nice rear deck lid for 64.5 or 65 Mustang coupe.Need a Dearborn 7 or 8 month dated straight lid if anybody has one?

Anybody have a good pic of an original 65 K 9 inch rear end rubber brake hose or a good source and part number for a replacement?
-
YES it is!

Early in production did Ford change the windshield rear glass trim fastner?I see that some came with a welded post that the trim fastner slid on where the early ones all had screws in them.Anybody know when they started or stopped this?

I agree with Fred as I too have purchased items from him and he sits in the drivers seat!

Biggest one is if someone has the original car then it's worth the most to them.Really doesn't make it worth any more money but people thinks so and owner will too if he wants it all original. There are lots of parts and motors showing up as they made alot of Hipo stuff and they aren't worth what most think they are but the rule is "It's Worth What Someone Will Pay On Any Givin Day" and that's the truth!

Where does 1965 Dearborn 252161 fall in the build dates?
-
Where do these prices come from?A NOS one sold for alot less then that and that's not even realistic.Repops are $89 and an original one isn't worth no where near that kind of money.I had 2 originals I sold awhile back for $175 each and I thought that was a good price?

How much do you want for the 4J as it might be OK for now?
-
Parts dated July/Aug.of 64 and car is early so probably somewhere in that date would be good?

Anybody have a Dearborn 1965 Hipo radiator forsale?
