This guy is a e-bay flipper, he offers to end auctions early under one e-bay handle, then does a cosmetic detail to engine & interior & relists them under a different e-bay handle. I would be very suspect of anything he sells. Definately need a hands on inspection before purchasing.
Also, some type of work has been poorly done on passenger rear fender apron on top, probably rust replacement?

Purchased from the original owner. The interior has had the dash bezel, steering wheel, dash-pad, headliner, and carpet replaced. The rest is original. The driver’s seat has a tear. The original AM radio’s speaker is missing so don’t know its condition. The original owner basically duplicated the GT 350 suspension mods. It has the Shelby finned aluminum oil pan, headers ( I have original factory exhaust manifold and H pipe), torquer intake and 750 double pumper with a more radical cam, roller rockers, and traction bars. Running gear is original, the motor was decked and bored .030 about 2 years ago, and the clutch was replaced. The wheels are 15X7” American Torque Thrust, installed by the original owner. The transmission is top loader 4 speed with Hurst shifter and 9” rear is limited slip. The “Top-Hat” metal under the cowl was replaced. Floor pans are original with a couple small patches. Paint is Base/Clear about 5 years old. Color is “Y”, the original code. There are a few chips, a small 1½ “crack, on the hood, and a small dimple on the driver side rear quarter. There is also some rust along the bottom of the doors. The original owner increased the fender flare size to install wider tires. Misc. after market items include headlight bezel, bumpers, door handles, tail light chrome, rear springs, gas tank, radiator and MSD ignition. The distributor is still original. I have the original Hi-Po and GT emblems, steering wheel, and receipts for all of the major purchases. Very rare factory Raven Black car Code A/Black interior. non-original drivetrain, currently has a strong 66 289 4V in the car, 4 speed with Hurst shifter, transmission numbers on the tag are UGBP GG29 D7DRAA002957, we have no idea what happened to the original drivetrain or much history of the car. What we do know is car was sold new in Houston Texas DSO 62, then next 2 owners were in Austin Texas, past owner had the car since 1993. We purchased from a broker that got it from an estate. The car is very solid, excellent floors and frame rails with minor rust in rear quarter panels (clearly pictured) and rust spot on drivers door. I am listing my car for sale that I have owned for about 3 years. This is a RARE Mustang. The K codes were only about 3-5% of all production. The real factory GT K Convertibles were even less. I have been told that there were less than 1000 of these cars ever produced.
This car was produced in San Jose, CA as evident in the FORD VIN. It was then shipped to Denver, CO.
The car is equipped in its original facotry color of Ivy Green Metallic, Blk Std Interior and Blk top along with its correct dated 289 Hipo engine , 4spd topllader trans and 3.89 nine inch rear axle. THIS CAR IS A FACTORY GT, it has the disc brakes, quick ratio steering box with tag, correct orig fog light holes and many other orig. features. This car is in the Hipo Registry.
I would estimate the car was painted about 10 years ago. It is a very high end driver. The car is an amazing driver and weekend show car. It can be driven and shown if that is what you would like.
The ENTIRE drivetrain has just been completely rebuilt to original specs within the last year by a professional Shelby restoration shop. The engine compartment is detailed to original specs and all correct hipo pieces are there. I have all reciepts. All mechanaical components are correct for the hipo engine, hipo heads, solid lifters, heavier blancer, larger alternater pulley, correct main caps and crank. The car has a fresh pony carbs hipo clone carb., and the close ratio HEH-BX toploader and 9"inch 3.89 rear.
This car is a very early production 66, being produced on 10/29/65, it features ORIGIANAL HIPO MOTOR MOUNTS.
The paint and body are in excellent condition, this car was painted about 10 years ago, while not show perfect, it is smooth as glass and very straight. There are some minor chips here and there from driving. There is no rust or filler at all. This car is solid both on the body and underneath. All of the original VINS are in place on front inner fenders and it has the original DOOR TAG.
This is a car that looks great and runs awesome, it has a ton of power and sounds great through the brand new ARVINODE exhaust. The redlines are new, along with a ton of other items.
The history of the car from what I have been able to find is as follows. I purchased it from a guy in North Carolina, he got it from New York--that owner had the car for about 10-12 years and he did the body restoration. That person got it from a dealer in OH. The car had a 302 in it when got it. I have obtained all correct and date correct engine and trans parts and then had the Shelby Shop build and install the motor. I ahve all paperwork going back about 14 years.
The interior is very nice, no rips or cracks, it features an original 8k Rally Pack (just rebuilt) and an original Pony Wheel that was just restored, all guages work, except clock(disconnected)
Other recent new items are fuel tank, rebuilt rear end and much more.
This is a turn key car, it has no issues. I have a file full of paperwork that goes back to the early nineties.

Researching the engine numbers it appears this is not the original “HiPo” engine that came with the car. However, it does appear to be a correct, early “HiPo” from 1964/1965. It has the solid lifters (that you can hear), and it has the correct cast iron header type exhaust manifolds, dual point distributor, large harmonic balancer, and the larger alternator pulley.

OWNER HISTORY: The current owner’s husband purchased this low mileage, rare, K-Code “HiPo” coupe, in 2006. He recently passed away and his wife does not drive a manual, so this very nice, solid “HiPo” Mustang is ready for a new owner to enjoy. Prior to listing for sale we replaced a rusted wheel cylinder, installed a new ammeter, replaced the temperature sender, and freed up a sticking choke cable. The gas tank was removed and refreshed by the current owner a couple of years ago.
VEHICLE HISTORY: There is no “Marti Report” available for Mustangs produced prior to 1967, so we have to do some educated guessing about the history of this particular low mileage “HiPo” Mustang. We believe the car is an original “K” code Mustang since the inner fender VIN stamping number matches the door mounted Warranty Plate stamped VIN. The low mileage appears to be original based upon: 1) the Ohio title states “Actual” miles, and 2) the underneath is very solid with evidence of the factory brown primer on parts of the floors. Our guess is the car was driven very little before it was parked for an extended period somewhere out West in a relatively dry climate (San Jose, CA assembly plant & Los Angeles district sales office). It must have sat outside exposed to the elements for a long time and the cosmetics deteriorated enough that it required a restoration. Further proof is the Deluxe steering wheel that is sun/heat damaged and was not replaced during the restoration, but just had a steering wheel cover on it to hide the damage.
Some time in the mid to late 1990s it was likely rescued from the elements and a cosmetic restoration was performed. We are guessing mid to late 1990s because the existing tires are date coded 1998. It was repainted in the original Dark Green Metallic color, the upholstery was redone with the original style “woven” vinyl panels, the head liner and carpets were replaced, all the trim was either restored or replaced, and the engine was removed and repainted along with the engine compartment.
During the restoration a GT front grille (that includes fog lights) was installed, along with a non-original Hurst shifter. There is no documentation to verify all the existing options were factory original, such as the Rally-Pac, styled steel wheels, full center console, and tinted glass, but they are now on the car and certainly add to its appeal!

Here you will see the holy grail of early K code mustangs.I have the original Ford dealer invoice which shows the original buyer to be a lady residing in Pasadena,California along with its original window sticker from from Robert.H Loud Ford in Pasadena,Ca.This original owner later moved to Arizona and I have the registrations confirming this.In 1985 they sold this car at Barrett Jackson auction and it moved to Colorado when it was listed in the HiPo registry.I have all the paperwork,original warranty card and maintainence receipts for this car since new.This car has absolutely no patches or filler and NEVER had any rust ever!! I did a nut and bolt restoration myself on this car and was amazed at its originality and condition.The Ford dealer invoice shows air conditioning and rally pac as options.I upgraded the A/C compressor to a modern and quiet Sanden unit and installed an NOS 1965 underdash unit with perfect chrome condition.I had the 289/271hp original motor completely rebuilt and have the machine shop invoice with all parts listed.All internal parts are correct :bearing caps,hatchet,date coded balancer ,number 21 heads with hardened valve seats,etc.etc.The 1.12 hipo carb has just been show quality rebuilt by All American Carburators.The engine and toploader HEHBX transmission are factory vin stamped matching the car and title.The nine inch rearend is original and has its tag stating 3:50 gears.It has the correct dual point distributor,fan blade,hipo exhaust manifolds,HCCAX steering box etc.I have added the GT items and Kelsey Hayes disc brakes but other than that it is all original and numbers matching. All suspension and steering components are new with the front upper control arms recieving the Shelby drop.The laser straight body has a slick base/clear repaint done to show quality after the car was disasembled and all glass removed and new headliner installed.The black vinyl top is in perfect condition.Its equiped with stereo system by Secret Audio.This San Jose,Ca. built Kar is completely show ready and needs absolutely nothing but a new owner to enjoy this rare beautiful car. Hello i am listing this true 1965 Mustang fastback K code for my dad. It has been in storage since the early 1980's. This car was actually in Hawaii for some time. The engine and transmission are gone. It appears to still have the original 9" rearend. Also has the correct steering box that came on hi-po cars. It is a pretty solid car and looks like most of it is original. It needs floor pans and also the right trunk drop off which are pictured. The doors and right fender do have rust. Someone knocked the lock out of the trunk, cut the shifter hole bigger, and cut a hole in the hood. Still has the clutch pedal. Seats are nice and comes with new black carpet, door panels, and head liner. Looks like most interior is there including all the fold down and the trap door has not been cut out. All frame rails and shock towers are very solid. It has the vin stampings on both sides of the front aprons and a new door tag from Marti Auto Works. 1965 Ford Mustang K Code Fastback Body - Clear Title
5F09K609xxx Original door tag & dealer warranty card are with car. All sheet metal work has been done. The K Engine & Transmission are long gone. I do have a nine inch rearend that goes with the car. New Fenders, Hood, 2 good doors, interior components including the fold down seat go with the car. I have all the glass except the front windshield. This is a good project & cheap enough for a K code restoration project. Our original intentions with the car was to build a restomod with a stroker motor.
