Sorry, guess I wrote that wrong. It would be the fill plug. I' get pictures and see if I can figure out how to post them.

I have a 9" rear axle assembly that I was told came from a 65 or 66 Mustang. How do I positively identify which year and if it is the correct rear for a Mustang? It has a drain plug on the rear pumpkin and the axle tubes are tapered on the ends. It was under a 65 Ranchero when I got it so it is not very wide.
Thanks

OK please excuse my ignorance as I'm not as knowledgeable as most of you but I need help to identify a rear axle I have. I was told it came from a 65 or 66 Mustang. It is a 9" for sure and has tapered axle tubes and a drain plug in the rear of the pumpkin. I would post pictures but don't know how on this forum. What do I look for to get a positive ID? I'm pretty sure, knowing the person I got it from, that it is a true 65 or 66 Mustang 9".
Thanks

Don't think I have what you are looking for. I have 2 C5AE 9425 M intakes. I guess you are looking for a C5AE 9425 A? Anyway the dates on mine are 4K21 and 4L17.

I may have one around that date. I'll look when I get home tonight.

Seeking an 4V intake manifold dated around or on 4H6. It would be engineering number C5OE-A with A machining style.

can you e-mail me pics of the paint markings to alanpound@hotmail.com? thanks

Sorry Bob. I meant I sent a PM wanting to buy the tube not a PM to you. If I get it I will get you pictures of it. I also still need to send you the book so you can copy the photos of my car. I'll get it to you soon.<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>
Never got it.

I sent you a PM about this

I have a nos tube that I wont need if someone is interested. I would take $130.00 for it. It is the valve cover style. When I bought it the ford sticker was on it, but I removed the sticker and then never installed the tube.

I am needing a pump for a 65 hipo Fairlane. Does anyone know where I can get a core and is it too late to get in on the second run of rebuilds? That is assuming I can find a core.
Thanks,
Alan

I looked and all I have close is a 4J24. It has standard main caps but I would assume you could use yours and have it line bored??? I haven't had it checked by a machine shop but I'm pretty sure it's a good block. Let me know.

I may have a block. I have several but need to check the dates. Where in Texas are you?

Thanks I posted it on there.

Has anyone heard of a 60's LA California Ford dealer Norman ford Sales? In an old National Dragster photo of my 65 K Fairlane it looks like this was painted on the quarter panel. I did a search and found a reference to them doing the paperwork for Shelby American. Does anyone know anything about this? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I am new here so if I violate some rule about posting please excuse me.
I am in need of a few parts for my 65 K Auto Fairlane and wondered if anyone had them that wanted to sell.

I am in need of a pump that would be correct for a Dec 64 built 65 Fairlane. Would you have one that is correct and how much do you want for it if you do?
Thanks,
