Quote from 65Rangoon
My GTA has the shoulder harness option. It is a completely seperate belt. A real PITA at times. For instance if one forgets to release the parking brake, the shoulder belt must be unbuckled so you can reach the brake handle, that is unless you have arms the length of a gorilla.
Charlie,
You've got mail; I sent you a PM.

Here's a picture of a '67 door striker plate for you to compare it with. I checked out the part number you provided and it certainly looks like they are for a '67.
BTW, if they turn out to be for a '67 and you want to sell them, please let me know. My email address is kgtman67 at yahoo dot com.

FWIW, definitely not a 65/66 Hipo fan, but could have been a 67 hipo fan. Can't tell though without the numbers from the fan.

Tim,
I sent you an email regarding the used hipo fuel pump.

Looks like this is the same car that was discussed in this HPM thread:
-
Troy,
So which carb do you have on the kar now?
Tom
-
Troy,
I have to agree with Merlyn on this one: "ITS A K".
Second choice: "SKARCE".
Have you looked into or thought about "66KGT" or "6KGT6" or "KONVERT"? The last one assumes this plate is for your convertible.

Larry,
I have a few questions for you.
1) Do you know if your kar has its original engine? If so, have you found the VIN stamping on your block? If you have, were is it located?
2) Does your car have a tach in it? If it does, is it a 6K or 8K tach? Is there a red line on the tach?
3) Does your car have a 120 or 140 mph speedometer?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Kcode,
Welcome to the forum. You'll find a great bunch of very knowledgeable k-code lovers here. Nice looking kar!
Your car looks very familiar to me. IIRC, the last time I saw it was around April of 2005 when it was listed on ebay. I believe this to be the thread were we discussed the value of the car with a past owner.

BTW, if I may ask, were you the ebay purchaser?

Bob,
I think you'll have to wait for Tim to respond to your question. If you don't want to wait, his email address is gtedh@yahoo.com . Hope this helps.

Just curious, what rear end ratio is used for this type of racing?

I'm presently looking to purchase a '67 Mustang OEM rear GT valance (with exhaust cutouts). Can be NOS or Used OEM, but must be in very good condition. TIA for your help.
