You will most likely have to make your own unless you have access to a dual exhaust parts car. Just cut a piece of 1/2" pipe and tack in place. When my rear frame rails were replaced we salvaged the originals.

If Dan doesn't take the clutch I'm interested.

The judged class was limited to 250 cars and has been full for a couple months. It will be abbreviated judging and doesn't count towards any MCA points.

Unfortunately I am not planning on taking the K to the 45th, I am driving the Roush instead. If gas prices stay down those plans may change, at the time I registered we were still looking at $4+ gas and it cost too much to trailer that far. In any case I'll be looking for everyone!

Fred (c6zz) is the expert on disassembling these pumps, hopefully he will chime in.

Welcome Larry, very nice looking kar!
Dang member gallery got archived, should have gotten pinned so new members could add to it.

Looks to be a pretty solid vert, too bad the heart is gone from it. From the description it looks like some parts are not included in the sale but available?

Do you have any more pics of the 2 cars together you can send me? I am having a hard time seeing the difference on these examples...
I think that is the only one I have but will have to look through my 35th pics to see if I have more. I know I at least have the originals of these scaled down pics I can send.

I also have an extra NOS one...

Here's a pic of my kar at the 35th with the moss green (Y7) 66 next to it. The moss green is definitely lighter... And yes, both are k's. This was at the k korral. Charles should remember this...

Here is a pic of the Y7 kar by itself.

Nicely done. I am curious though - I thought Moss Green was a '67 color? My '66 is code R, Ivy Green, which is what I always thought your car was. Anyway, I am sure you know and if the tag has the Moss Green code then that is what it is, but seems peculiar for a '66.
I believe it was possible to order color Y on late 66 cars. There was a very late 66 K at the 35th that was Moss Green with the matching door tag. I too thought Troy's car was Ivy Green...

I have the names of all three previous owners of my kar but have been unable to locate the first two. I'd rather not find the second owner from the stories I got from the third owner. Second owner only had the kar for 6 months and nearly destroyed it while getting himself thrown in jail in the process. I'm still in touch with the third owner, I have a funny feeling the first owner is no longer with us. Kar was in southern Illinois its entire life until I bought it in 79 and brought it up to central Illinois.

Got mine yesterday, looks fantastic! Thanks for doing this for us Fred!
