As we discussed on the phone I am interested... glad you decided not to split up the matching drivetrain.
Mine showed up today as well. Very nice job. Picture of my kar turned out great too! I'm honored...
BTW, how did I get this today in IL if you just mailed it today from VA?

Quote from SPECIAL EDWhat fender covers? If they are still available I would like some more info. thanks. Ed
Hank, have you submitted these designs for a quote at this or any other sites? Plastic would be ok I guess but I think we would all prefer a good quality metal frame. It appears #1 is most everyones choice. I'd rather pay you a couple more bucks to help the site than go elsewhere to get a pair made. Look what happened with the fender covers, you had to do a second run... You may sit on a few for a while but I don't think you will have any problem making a run and have any problem getting rid of them.
I'm sorry, I totally forgot to look at the backings I have today. Monday's are hectic...
Quote from raccolHere's what an original set looks like. Not sure about numbers for non-original sets.
Hmmm.... those pics look like they have an HM stamp not a KH stamp. I'll take a look what I have tomorrow and get back to you...
It's mine!
Well maybe not, but I've replied thru email...
Quote from SixT5HiPoThis used FoMoCo distributor case was SOLD for $190.27 by eBay seller "1snakeman1".
DESCRIPTION:
This is a very nice original HiPo 289 Mustang distributor case. It's in excellent condition with FOMOCO on it. Date code is 5FD. It's been bead blasted and it is in "unpainted" natural condition. Just put your distributor inside into the case and have a very nice 65 dated distributor.
Looks more like it was sand blasted. They ruined it. I guess if you are desparate...
Hmmm, you seem to have found the posts I didn't find.
Probably paid too much... we'll see when it gets here I guess.
Hank, send me a picture of what you are looking for and any identifying numbers/dimensions to look for. I think I might have what you are looking for. If I do I'll send 'em to ya for the shipping cost only, any value of the parts will be a donation to the site.
wohooo!
Can't wait to see them!
Yuck... I like Hanks's design #1 much better.
Since my original flywheel just got turned for the last time I thought I better pick up a spare so I bought this one:

Besides the lack of the orange paint daub does this look to be a hipo flywheel? Engineering number is correct, hope I didn't make a boo boo...

Sold for RESERVE NOT MET by seller darrylh99
Bid to $860.69
QuoteThis is an NOS Autolite carb for a 289 HiPo engine in a Mustang/Shelby with an manual transmission. This carb is NOS, and has literally been sitting on my shelf for 20+ years, and almost another 20 with a local engineering company before that. It is a part number C6ZF-C. It can be seen in the photos that the mounting flange and fuel line seat have never been used. It still retains all it's original ink markings. It has an 11-5-63 casting date, and is the 1.12" bore. It is missing it's aluminum tag that is under the left front screw, but the remnants of it are still under the screw. A reproduction can be made with any date code you wish. This is the last of the NOS HiPo carbs I have, and was the only manual tranmission one. Although it is brand new and mechanically moves freely, it's operation condition is unknown, so it is being sold as is.

Just wondering if anyone else caught this auction on ebay...

I have never seen one of these, have you?

There's a lady here in town with a nicely restored early 65 C-code "hipo GT" fastback that makes all the local shows. After one feeble attempt to educate her and receiving a snobby "that's the way I bought it" I decided it was better to let her enjoy her car...
By the poll I count 54 spoken for. That isn't enough?
Any chance of getting a group order on these or is it a dead issue?
