My Jan 12 DB kar is a 9. I don't think you'll find a 10 on any k's as cl 10 did not affect the hipo engine. See this post:

Is it a FoMoCo, Autolite or Motorcraft?
It's either May 10th 1968, 1978, or 1988

Fantastic news Fred! Let me know when you are able to get these done, I would love to have my original 4201 rebuilt. Any idea on price yet?

Lots of good pics there. Wish I had a better camera when my kar was being restored.
Oh, and maybe a kar that wasn't as rusty so I could have documented more markings...

-
Do they have it in stock or are they baiting you to send your money? CJ is good about not filling orders for months...
-
I must of done something right cuz mine just fell into place. Don't ask me how I did it, I don't remember....

Thanks Troy, I was wondering who did it. I finally got in touch with Kurt again a couple months ago and I got a MUCH better reply this time. I sure must have caught him on a very bad day last time. He was very apologetic for his last response to me. My carb is going in sometime this month...

Charles, you got a late Nov 65 thru early Jan 66 DB radiator?
-
Sorry you didn't find the kar you were looking for. Hang in there, something will show up when you least expect it.

I'm already registered! See ya there Dan!
Hope to see lots of other K-codes there!

I don't think it's being maintained any more. I donated a couple times while the list was still there and never got added to it...

Quote from C6ZZKGT
I sold a restored 65 Hipo GT fastback to a buyer that was really not a Kar guy years ago. His first gripe was that it did not have a windshield washer system. I explained to him that it was optional in 65 and that I would add one if he wanted it. I also told him that if he drove the Kar long enough to get the windshield dirty enough to need the washer that he should be ashamed of himself. He chose to not install the washer.

LOL Fred, thats a good one!

Hmmmm, guess I need to pick up a copy. It is definitely a journey restoring a K, I'd love to read the article.
WTG Dave!

My congrats as well John, it always good to see a deserving car get published especially when it belongs to a good friend and a fellow member of the forum.
Pssstttt.... is that you sitting behind your k in the MCA Nationals ad pic on page 19 or was that your friend? I can't tell for sure.... I can see me sitting behind my kar but can't tell for sure if thats you sitting behind yours.
Second time the rear end of my kar has made MM, lol....

Great pics and a very nice kar! That steering wheel caught my eye as well, a little shiny as you stated but looks great! Wish they looked that good when they were new...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

Sigh, looks like we missed our chance.
Murf, didn't you mention to me you found a guy who rebuilt crimped pumps for the corvette guys? Maybe we can pressure him into doing a few pumps for us hipo guys....

Welcome to the forum! Since you've been lurking for a while you probably know we love pictures so lets see them!

Well I will give the seller credit for including plenty of pictures and highlighting the defects.
