Hi, i am thinking to sell my 64 1/2 coupe Hi-po , 80% original paint, NO RUST, i spend 30 000 $ for engine, transmission... and a complete preservation paint on the originals floors.

Please tell me what would be a real price in the market ? i don't find any 64 1/2 K code MATCHING numbers like mine for sale..

Thank you.

Won't say how much to ask but I just went through the process of buying a 65 this spring (built in Dec 64), all #'s matching coupe. A couple body panels aren't original but the rest are, including the floor. Fresh paint, interior and suspension. Engine and diff done. The car has some issues with originality but overall pretty solid and I'm happy with it.

I looked at a few, all asking low to high 40's depending on the usual factors. Some could not provide verification they were #'s matching so I moved on. There was a '66 in Winnipeg Manitoba for $55 usd that was a fresh rotisserie but again, no proof was offered of #'s matching. Due to covid and being in Canada, I wasn't able to view any in person.

I just missed an 65 (or it might have been 64 1/2) at a Mecum auction early this year that sold for $39 IIRC that looked incredibly original. I believe that was a steal.

For what it's worth I preferred an early 65, not 66 or later 65. I wanted the earlier dash. A 64 1/2 would have the earlier dash obviously but wouldn't add value, for me, over an early 65.

Hope this helps.
