I to have had problems with buyers say yea I want the car but never come to see the car when they say they are. And then they call after two or three weeks and ask if the car is still for sale. I never try to talk a person into buying my vehicle. I had nine people wanting to look at my K's and no one showed up.If the buyer doesn't want to take the time to look thats there problem not mine. My one K sold to a guy that got my name from an X employee. He had no idea about hipomustang.com. He put a large down payment, and wanted to pick the car asap. I to have had cars sold out from under me even have paid a deposit. And I would have paid more for the car.The moral of the store is buy the car right then and now and take it home with you. Don't hesitate or you will regrete it. I learned a long time ago not to make promises to someone that has NOT made up there mind. The K Mustang's are a HIGH Interest Car.So if you want one you BETTER MOVE ON IT NOW not later. Remeber one in the hand is better than two in the bush!!!!!! Just my 2 cents. Ron

I had the wrong trans numbers. I need a HEH-BX 4 speed. and a 1965 9 inch for my 1965 Feb. built K Fastback. Thanks! Ron
-
Fred is correct . The engines are at the same height. In a stock Mustang the pinion points up about 4 degree's. If you put the pinion at 0 degree's you may gain about 3/4 inch to lower your engine. Not enough to bother with. Just my 2 cents. Ron Morris performance does not mention about dropping the engine lower. They are a nice mounts. You would have to relocate your steering likage. Ron

How come the Vin. number looks to be in the wrong spot? My two K's is where the fender slot is cut out. But as far as pricing All of K owners better be ready for the price of are K's to go SKY HIGH. The 1965 Shelbys are selling for over $250,000 plus. And the price for parts is going up also. Lets enjoy them as long as we can. Just my 2 cents! Ron Madding

Looks like another early model was made into a GT. It was built before Jan. of 1965. It does not mention if the engine is the correct HIPO unit.

Use CAUTION when using a Fluid Dampner!!!! In cold weather than can break or worse yet is break your crank!!! Ford Racing sells a very good balancer for your HIPO. It is almost the same thickness. You may have to modify a crank pulley to fit. They come with three bolt and four bolt pattern. They are 28 oz. units. Which bolt right on. Also did you have your pressure plate checked and was it rebalanced? The shop that rebuilds your engine can put the pressure plate on the balancer after he has balanced your crank assembly and check to see if your pressure plate is in balance. It should have been neutrel balanced already. When rebalancing your HIPO engines don't let them drill on the balancer or flywheel. Do all the correcting on the crankshaft. I have repaired cracked balancers! I weld them after they are taking apart and then machine them. Never had one break after doing that. I have also machined the end off the balancer and used a FE crank spacer machined to the correct lenght and use a full lenght key. That works fine also.DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR OLD HIPO BALANCER, I fix them if they are cracked. I leave the rest up to the Dampner Doctor.Hope this helps. Ron
