What is this guy talking about? Sounds like some pretty good spin.Or am I totally off base here.
Q: Hey Brownie, the #'s on the block indicate a casting date of Feb 17, 1965, while the car was built in June 1966, NOM. General Feb-02-09
A: I agree this seems strange for the time lag but if it was a 65 engine it would have a serial number stamped on the right lower side of the block--it does not have a stamping and never did. Thats the reason it must have sat around for 66 production to be installed. 66s did not have a serial number stamped on the block

http://www.early-mustang.com/modules.php?na…showpage&pid=20
page 37 maybe they can help you find it
Fuel pump looks incorrect
I must also plead ignorance as far as dealer installed,as I am new to the k-scene.Maybe someone with a little more knowledge can enlighten us.

I have had my k car since september,in the time since I have been keeping my eye on sales of k codes(do not plan on ever selling it ).It is really disturbing how many times I have seen this type of thing in just the last 4 months. Here is another beauty from the same guy and he already has two bidders. Can nothing be done?
mike

Hi, I have been lurking for a while an thought it was time I introduced myself.I am a 45 yr old car nut living on long island.I got into mustangs while in highschool owning a 69 and 70 mach 1.I still find parts to this day. After many years of various car(still have a few, for now) I finally found one I want to keep .A black 66 gt hipo fastback.I plan on starting a full resto in january which should take a few years as funds are not what they use to be.I look forward to asking many questions along the way.
mike
p.s.the car is already registered here and I have tried many times to update with the provided link only to have the email returned each time.Any help would be appreciated.
