In my opinion, $30k is a bit on the high end, but if the car looks right to you (sounds like a good one from your description) then paying a few thousand more than you want will only be a temporary concern. You will long forget about the additional money (as long as it is still within your budget of course) and hopefully have years of enjoyment from a beautiful, rare car that will only appreciate in value. If you can afford it, buy it.

Thanks Kevin, I love your Kar too. It was great meeting you as well. I had a blast! You and your father-in-law did an amazing job on your Kar. It was well deserving of that trophy!

Hi Everyone,
I own a restored 1966 GT-K Convertible with automatic transmission and a 1966 Mustang Convertible C code with original paint and original interior that was stored for 28 years before I purchased it. I have been a Mustang enthusiast for 20 years and am happy to part of this wonderful site. I look forward to meeting you all.

Jeff,
It was great meeting you yesterday, thank you very much for doing that, I didn't even see it, I appreciate it. It's people like you, who by passing on your wealth of knowledge will keep this hobby alive and help preserve these special cars. I look forward to learning much more about these cars.

Hi Guys,
This is my first posting on this site. I heard about the site before, but hadn't registered until now. I have been a Mustang owner for roughly 20 years now and only recently acquired my K. I have always dreamed of owning a K car and now I can finally say I am part of this exclusive club.
I was at "K Day" yesterday with my 66 GT-K springtime yellow, automatic convertible (GTKPONY) in Stockton and want to say what an amazing event it was. Ron and his team are a first class group of people. They put on a fantastic event! Many of you will know my car from Gaines Adcock who built it roughly 17 years ago. Being the first show I have ever attended as a participant displaying my car it was a very memorable day. I truly enjoyed meeting fellow Mustang K owners who have the same passion about these special cars as I do. Everyone was so nice!! My Dad also had a great time (thanks for listening to all his stories <img src=images/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> ) I hope to continue some of the friendships I started yesterday and develop new ones on this site. See you all at the next event
