I am looking at buying a '66 Mustang that the data plate identifies as an 'A' code. The seller claims that a 'K' code engine was swapped into it. Without pulling the engine apart, can I tell for sure? It has the correct air cleaner and valve covers, but that doesn't mean a thing. What about the manifolds, carb., exhaust or anything else I can see from the outside?
