For those with a HEH T tranny is reverse left up or down. I have an 8 ball on my shifter (which is going in the trash) and my tranny is in the shop.
Sept 28 64 car with 64 style shifter.
I am assuming up but thought I would ask as I am going to a parts store tomorrow (out of the way) and want to get the correct one.

I have interior color code 29 Palamino on my 65 2+2, when I slapped the car together in 89 to drive, I used Lt Palamino. When looking at other cars with my colors 29 and P (Prairie Bronze) I am noticing a darker color of Palamino. The restoration places have Lt and Med Palamino listed. Anyone know what would be considered the correct variant of Palamino to use with my car? build date it sept 28 of 64 and it is an Dearborn car.
Thanks

Does anyone know a conversion for an automatic choke to a manual choke on an Autolite 4100, besides Pony Carburetors?
I called Pony Carburetors and they told me what I wanted, some stupid assembly to attach to my manifold to use the automatic choke. Then they tried to talk me into a $530 dollar rebuild for a carb that works wonderfully. Then they basically told me they had the stuff but would not give me a price and gave me the run around. Wonderful customer service!
Look I don't mean to rant but I just want a manual choke on my 4100, to bad they only did this on the k cars. I have enough respect not to rob someone of a rare part. I am not trying to make a fake K code carb. I just want a manual choke on my 4100.
Any suggestions?
