Thanks for advice , Looks like Ford Blue it is then , i noticed in NPD Catalogue they only list Dark Blue or Med Blue for raylon and Nylon.
At round about what Date Period did NYLON Blend carpet come into standard fitment .
Does anyone know if the New Raylon blend fades or not !!.
Shane
Thanks , so you say "FORD BLUE" is closer than "Med Blue", is the "Ford Blue" alot lighter in Colour compared too "Dark Blue" of which i Currently have .
I see that NPD do not List the "Ford Blue" in there latest Catalogue !!
Shane
Thanks for input , i notice that NPD dont offer the 80/20 Nylon/Rayon blend now , it appears too be Eigher Rayon or Nylon .
With my Kar being August 65 , which Carpet do i need too go with !!!
Shane
Thanks for your input Guys , just what i was expecting Med Blue , any thoughts on Which carpet too buy and where.
Thanks Shane
Hope someone can help me out here with regards too carpet colour , my K Kar Build date is August 65 , it has Blue / White Vinyl Pony Decor , the Carpet currently in the car is DARK BLUE , i am Thinking this is incorrect Colour , SHOULD my Carpet be MEDIUM BLUE , How many Different BLUEs are there when it comes too Carpet Colour!!
The Car was Restored many years ago in the U.S. , so Not sure which shade of Blue i should have as the dark Blue is much darker than the Seats.Difficult too Find Answers when have nothing too Compare with.
Any Advice Much Appreciated.

Thanks Heaps Guys , when my car was at the Body Shop , i had them fill in some holes under the Dash that had been added , Unfortunatly they Filled more holes than where supposed too .
It amazes me that Ford fitted the Choke cable so far away from the Hole in the Firewall .
Thanks again.
Shane
I have looked through all past Forums relating too Choke Cable mounting Position , Can anyone Post some pics Please of the Mounting Location under the dash for a 65 San Jose K
I have read that it should be mounted too the far left of Steering Column , would like too view some pics .
Thanks , Shane
Thanks Jim for feedback , i have heard there are 3 x Brands Dynacorn of which is best ( Wheel Only ) , others are ACP & KSR
Looks Like the Dynacorn Wheel is the Way too go , then have too eigher use your Original pts or Buy Seperate Repro Pts and Hope like hell they fit.
Thanks also too others that have come forward with comments and the Attached Link .
Shane
Thanks Jim for your Feedback , i did suspect there would be some Problems somewhere , where did you end up Purchasing a complete Wheel .
Shane
I am thinking of buying a new reproduction Deluxe Woodgrain Steering Wheel complete for my 65 K from NPD. I am curious to hear some feedback on the quality of their steering wheel. The description write up in their catalog tells me that the quality is very good.
Are there several different manufacturers of these steering wheels?
I'm after some feedback, please.

Carlite still do special Orders for Classic Carlite Loggos with what ever date codes etc you need , they Compile Special Orders untill they have enough too do a Run.
I have just Recently been informed that Carlite themselves have only just Started too Etch the Classic Loggo with your Date details etc on the Front Screen , previously they only did Rear Screen and Side Glasses.
I dont know if you Can go Direct too Carlite , or you may have too go through a Autherised Dealer like i Had too here in NZ.
I have Brought all New Date Coded Glass all Round .
There are Companys out there that also do Carlite Etchings , but beware !!!.
You cant Beat the Real Deal.

Hi Z Ray , thanks for info and pics , Getting back too the OE HiPo pump ,way back in 66 when Paxtons where fitted too some shelbys , do you know if the Fuel Pumps where changed at the time , i would like too stick with my Rebuilt Pump if possible as i Like the OE Look
I was wondering how the Spark Arrestor got its name , When it Looks like a Aircleaner Element .
Shane
Z Ray , are you running the HiPo Fuel Pump still , was wondering if the HiPo Pump ( Rebuilt ) would be sufficient too run with the 650 dble pumper, i too am thinking of Buying a Paxton Package from Craig , craig did tell me you can run with the Std HiPo carb , didnt however mention anything about Choke Clearance Problems.
Is that Link too The spark Arrestor correct , i couldnt open it up
Some pics of the Paxton Set Up would be real nice too view .
Thanks , Shane
