Ok ive been trying to remember where the knob was on the dash of my oct 64 dearborn car. from what i see on this site is that it should be mounted on the far left hand side. But heres the problem my car has the 65 emergency flasher switch mounted in the d shaped hole in the dash on the far left hand side. then the parking brake and the vent knob. Ive tried puting it on the right side of the wheel but its makes the cable way to long in the engine compartment. Ok so if anybody has any ideas about this one please let me know. Many thanks guys.

Ive got a question for anyone that might know or have pictures of any oct 64 dearborn kars (or close to that date) DSO new york. As far as i know new york dso cars would not have the down draft tubes but they have a pcv valve in the valve cover or maybe a tube with a pcv valve inline coming for the back of the intake to the spacer plate instead of the valve cover I have seen a few A codes with this but never a hipo. If anybody knows or has pictures please give me a heads up.<img src=images/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for finding that info, this may explain for some of the gaps in date codes and build dates on these cars. I wonder when it started and how long the stike went on for and how many cars just sat on the line unfinished. The strike must have screwed up a lot of things.

Looking for an answer about some date code questions that i have. my car is dated 10k64 and the center section on the rear axle is dated 4Ell as far as know this is the orginal axle to the car the tag on is dated 4KA and it still has the copper washers under the nuts on it. The other dates on the block are 4G7 and the heads are both dated 4G9 and the intake has date code 4H23. Does anyone else have such a cazy span of dates on their car. If anyone can help with this please let me know.<img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Im tossing a line out to see if someone can help me with this. The machine shop called me today and told me that my block is cracked. Does anyone have a 4G or 4H 289 6 bolt block or something close to that date. Im going to have to try and replace the block with something close date wise. Please let me know. <img src=images/icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

Is there anyone that can tell me about a clutch fork that i picked up. I was told that it was from a 67 hipo mustang. It has the part number C7ZA-7541-D stamped into it. It is about 9 1/2 inches long. I tried to put it my 67 bellhousing and it will not fit over the pivet. Im starting to think that this a maybe a 6 cly fork. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

The seal has bendix on the under side of the cap. On the caps you were talking about, do any of them look like they are copper plated? the cap that i have is completely copper color inside and out. It looks like the bottom of a new revere ware copper bottom pot.<img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

<img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>hope someone out there can help with this one. Im putting disc brakes on my car and ive been useing nothing but orginal parts as i can get my hands on. I know the car is too early (10 k 64) for them, but i what them on there. I have a disc brake master that has a copper plated cap. The cap is not useable its missing both clips and the tabs on one side are broke off, so i cant just put the clips back on it. I have another cap that has normal colored plating on it. Now heres the question. When, where and what did ford use this these copper plated caps on. Its a neat change from the normal and i dont think it looks bad at all. If some one can enlighten me on subject. I would be thankfully
