9 inch rear end housings for sale. New axle tubes, new flanges and new spring perches and a used center section from an early Galaxie for the 65 housings. The 66 housings use an early Pickup center section. I had them on display at the 45th anniversary in Birmingham. A lot of guys from the hipo exchange looked them over and said they were spot on. Here's your chance, I am asking $1,000.00 each for the housings plus shipping. They are so very well duplicated you cannot tell the difference in one of these and an original. They will look much better than a rusted, pitted original. You can be the judge. Thanks,

At any given time one can find most anything for sale on e-bay. I have seen many 9 inch housings,(repro's) in just about every configuration. i have recently spent several years making drawings and debugging the drawings and ordering tooling and debugging tooling to get the housings I make right on. Not long ago I sent two housings to Mustangs Unlimited to sell for me. They were two of the first repro's I built with no new spring perches but new flanges and tubes. To my knowledge they still have them. There are people to this day who think the 8 inch tubes are the same so they attach them to a 9 inch center section and whoopeeeee, look what I have done.Been there done that. My housings were shown at the 45th anniversary and the exchange guys saw them and the feedback is on the exchange. Iam offering mine foe 1000,00 each at this time. Thats a bargain. You cannot tell the difference except mine are powder coated and look like they have never been used. Thanks Don Quillen dq29686@aol.com

I have emailed you some pictures of the tubes in question. We forgot how to get these pictures on this thread I have some more of you would like to see. We had wonderful feedback at the 45th Mustang Birthday party.

This certainly sounds good. Without a visual it is to hard fully consider this piece.

Would it be possible to post some photos especially of the connection between the tubes and the center carrier?

Are the tubes a reproduction or from an 8" banjo? (the transition from full tube diamete to the stepped down diameter is different on 8" which most of the re-makes use--still doable though).

    Thank You

I had my new 9 inch housings on display at the Birmingham 45th anniversary for all to see , touch and feel. Several of the exchange guys stopped by and checked them outand commented they were spot on. They reallly liked them and I was offering them at a bargain price of 1,000.00 each and I had no takers. No one was buying anything up to 100.00 because of the economy. They were all powder coated too. They look really good for a concours restoration. they are in fact exact. Will the guys that were there and saw them give me some feedback please so the others can hear what a fine product we have? thanks Don Quillen

Sorry, that was me!!! Just trying to tell people that there are other choices out there.People do not have to be pressured to buy stuff that they do not need!

So, who is pressuring?????? Some people do take advantage of a good deal on a good product. Sorry it was offensive to you.

it's bad form to hijack someone's thread. if you have a similar part for sale, please start a new post. otherwise, hijacked threads will be deleted.

What do you mean hijacked thread...we did not hijack anything to our knowledge..just responded to someone who was sarcastic about our product. The referring to another thread was referring to our own thread where there were pictures of the product. Please explain, if you would

These housings are advertised in several VERY established Mustang parts and information magazines. Look under the eKschange spool on 10/13/08 for pictures and more information. They are exactly like the original for people who are restoring their expensive K codes, Shelbys and for show cars. If you have such a project planned for the future you might be interested in buying now, If you never will need one, no it is not a "good deal" for those who commented as such.
