No worries. Thanks for pointing me in a direction. It at least gave me a point to start.
I think C and S Performance will work out just fine.

I missed it too. Sounds very nice. I'll be going shopping.
RSS feed added to my google homepage! Keep up the work. It's going to be nice to watch the car being built.
Soooo you plan to be done in about a month right
Since 4/14 I've received 1 confirmation email in which Ken said we'd talk on 4/21 about bringing in my car. After 2 follow up emails and a phone message I haven't heard a thing.
Looks like I'll be taking my car someplace else. Quantum Performance is out in my book. Something is not right over there.
Does anyone have any experience with C & S Performance. http://candsperformance.com. After brief conversation I was able to go and check out their facilities yesterday. They had some nice cars in there and seemed professional.
What's the difference in the concours and non-concours?
I'm looking forward to hearing this in person as my car was is a Jan 65 car. It was converted to a GT, but I still might roll back to this version with GT or etc tips.
Forristall's has some pricey cars, but they're known for having good quality.
But yea that is price. That was a beautiful GT that you missed out on!
I assume you're not running a stock distributor then? Sounds like you'd need an upgrade. I'm about to upgrade anyways since I just installed a Cold Air electric fan.
thanks Z. Ray, you're always full of knowledge.
So I've already once had the luxury of pushing the brake while rolling out of the garage only to have the surprise as the pedal drops to the floor.
I'm thinking about updating to the 67 dual bowl master cylinder in my 65 (disk front/drum back). What modifications are involved in this process?
I'm thinking about replacing my headlights with the Wagner Sealed Beam Xenon BriteLite.
Any thoughts or suggestions of another product?
I can definitely tell the difference!
But I also had my timing and valves adjusted. Overall though well worth it!
Per Ken's instructions I shot him an email yesterday about getting my car into his shop. Hopefully I hear something today!
Thanks Larry,
I Ken tried to get in contact with me on 3 occasions yesterday and we connected today.
He was very eager and passionate on how correct the situation. I completely understand his reasoning on why it's taking time to get my car into his shop. That's completely understandable. Having to wait on a good shop isn't unheard of.
What I tried to make sure I expressed clearly it was the lack of simple communication and follow-up that led to the relationship going south. I think he understood that and wants to make sure it's something QP can learn from and improve.
I was very impressed and satisfied with my dialog with him. The conversation ended with me next sending him an email once my car is home from it's current repairs. Also to note in a previous response Mike also apologized for the lack of communication.
At this point I consider the problem resolved. I'm still cautious but optimistic about them doing work on my car in the future.
As a follow up Larry.
Quantum Performance in Dallas was terrible. I've communicated with Mike Wilson on several occasions about getting my car into their shop, but he's done basically nothing in 2 months. (shakes head)
I finally ended up taking it to another referral who's done more in 2 days then they did in 2 months. Maybe some others have had some great service with QP. I sure hope so, because I'm impressed in no way shape or form.
I'm not much for complaining, but Mike clearly doesn't know how to communicate. I hope others have a better experience the I did.
He's sending them out somewhere to get detailed. I was looking at another car he had last summer and they're all very clean. Every car I've seen from there so far looks great in photos. When I'm back in Fredricksburg I want to check out their shop.
I emailed Street Dreams and this is the VIN 6T09K156517

Looks like the car has popped up again.
Figures!
I buy the ignitor II and they have an ignitor III coming out
My first 66 GT had 3 chambers and my friend had 2 chambers. You're still going to hear the car with 3 chambers. Another thing to consider is if you have 3 or 4 speed. 3 chambers roaring at 3,500 rpm is still going to be pretty loud.
I have a stock exhaust on my current car and it's a LOT quieter.
