These were coated by Jet-Hot back in 11/2007. The cost was $210 for the pair, out the door. Be sure to mention the 10% internet discount. They haven't been installed yet.

I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamel with ceramic, Semi-gloss Black DE1635. It's relatively inexpensive and available at most local parts stores.
I'm pleased with the end results and it allows easy touch ups when needed.

I appreciate the replys. Bob, my E-mail can accept a 2MB file. I would like to read your report.
Thanks, Wes.

Has anyone purchased Rebuilt Disc Calipers from them? If you have, how was the quality? Which set did you buy? The large bolts holding the halves together, was it a HEX or K/H 12 point? How long ago?
By the time I purchase new pistons and seals, I'll have more in my old calipers than what they sell the rebuilt ones for.
They're even less through Autozone, however, they're never available through their online ordering system or their local stores.

A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to purchase a complete set of 65 HIPO mounts(w/new repro rubber) AND a C5OE dual point distributor locally for MUCH less than this incomplete set of motor mounts. I almost passed on the deal thinking it was too high. Very lucky.

This C3OF Distributor came with my 65 K Fastback including the Pertronix Module. I was fortunate to locate a C5OF locally and no longer need it. It is a "No Reserve" listing.

I too need a '65 style (Bracket and C3AA(?) rubber snubber). I don't have any to trade.

Thanks. They are currently bare from blasting. I may have them Jet-hot, HPC(High Performance Coating), or VHT(Very High Temperature).

I will cut a hole in the frame rail or trunk floor and spot weld it on the inside.
It appears that the GT brackets won't work. The pics you sent will help me fab some "L" brackets.
Thanks for the pics, I appreciate the help.

<b>66KGT</b> This is a PRE GT K code with a build date of 11/06/64.
Attached, hopefully, are pictures that may make things a little clearer. The first 2 are Passenger side, last one is Driver's side.

I should have said that it is "currently" just a shell.
Yes, I have most of the components. Original door tag, engine, trans, rear end, sheet metal, etc.
I have spent the last year or so purchasing, replacing or refurbishing all of the components.
Besides having the 3 VIN's in the engine compartment, the engine and trans also have the VIN stamped on them.
I will read the FAQ's and attempt to post some pics.

Thanks for confirming that it originally came with the Arvinode Exhaust system.
I still do not know if the 2 by 2.5 by 0.135 inch flat plate should be inside or outside the right rear framerail. The plate has 2 holes drilled and tapped for 2 5/16 by 18 TPI (Threads Per Inch) bolts.
Thanks for your response.

There's not much to see. It's just a shell on jack stands.
How would I post a picture?
Thanks for the welcome.

I have a San Jose 65 K Fastback, build date of 11/06/64.
On the left/driver's side, the rear exhaust mounting plate is on the INSIDE of the rear frame rail, about 3 inches forward of the tie down bolts.
On the right/passenger side of the frame rail, about 3.5 inches forward of the tie down bolts is a small plate 2 by 2.5 inches welded to the OUTSIDE of the frame. This would be used to hold up the right side rear exhaust. Is this normal or added by someone in the past?
I have no idea which exhaust(Avinode?) originally came with this K. I removed the plate and was going to cut a hole in the frame rail, place the bracket inside, and spot weld it to look like the other side.
Help.

This is my 1st post. I have been lurking and learning for the past 15 months. That's when I purchased my 1965 Fastback VIN 5R09K154646. I have already placed it in the registry. There is a lot of Knowledge on this forum. I hope that I may be able to contribute.
