What is your part number, mine is C6AP-7D027-C. Also where would you find the transmission tag. I have been looking but can't find it. That would really help me in finding out whether this is the original transmission or not.

I think the transmission isn't original. The servo is cast in A instead of C making it just a regular c4 transmission. I have lowered the price to $20,000 obo

Don't forget that if your car has pony interior, the rally pac would be painted to match the color of the interior. With standard interior just leave it black.

Just to let you know. All windows have been fixed. New regulators were installed.

Last K code? I don't believe that for one second. I don't know why he would put that in the ad. I have a '67 K code that was built 8/11/67. It is for sale on this website. Here are pictures of it. http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/brinks3447/. When was the last K code built any clue?

I have pictures of the car. I put them at the same website as the other pictures http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/brinks3447/. I did forget to mention that this car doesn't have a GT hood on it. I have the original GT hood and it is in good shape except for a rust spot where the drivers side hinge bolts on. I included pictures of it. Please keep in mind that I just pulled the car out of storage and took the pictures. I am going to detail the car but since it is going to a garage to get the windows fixed I am waiting. I find it pointless to detail a car and take it to a garage and then get it back dirty again.

I put the marti report and analysis at this website http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/brinks3447/. If that doesn't work please e-mail me and I will send them to you. But the date on the door tag is 04V but the car was built on 08/11/67.

FOR SALE
I am selling my 1967 Mustang GTA Coupe. VIN 7F01K231778. This car is very nicely restored. Not a 100 point concourse car though. It is Candy Apple red with black standard interior. I have a deluxe marti report and the elite statistical analysis. Thanks to Kevin Marti and his documentation, I have proof that this car is 1 of a kind, no other made like it. This car is extremely solid but it did have two floors pans put into it. No rust on the car anywhere. This website should know of all Mustang people how rare a 1967 K code with automatic transmission is. This car does not have the oringinal K code enigne. I believe that it is a 1968 289 non-hipo. The only K code parts on the engine are the 1967 Hipo exhaust manifolds. It does have an upgraded intake manifold with an autolite 4100 carb on it. I don't know if it is a Hipo carb because I don't know how to tell the difference without the tags being on it. The car runs extrememly strong and has the original 9" rear end and. I am asking $22,500 obo. If you are interested please e-mail me at BrinkerM1@nku.edu or call 859-653-8685.

Mustang Monthly did an article on that car. It wasn't to long ago that they did it. I will have to go through my magizine collection again and I will give you the specific issue that it is in.

Did all GT cars have woodgrain steering wheels even if the car has standard interior? Is it different between '65 and '66? I know that the K code cars came with the engine dress up kits but what about the A code cars with with the GT option? I was to believe that you could only get the woodgrain steering wheel with pony interior and the only way to get the engine dress up kit from the factory was to get a K code.

I could be interested in the caps. Please post pictures of them. Also I need .30 pistons and the K specific rods to go with them.
-
I need HI-PO main caps and pistons. If anybody has some for sale please let me know.

Thank you all for your help. Especially caspian65. I hopefully have one finally question. Since my car is a late model 1965 would it come with the '65 rally pac that says rally pac in the middle of it or would it come with the low profile '66 rally pac? Also would the rally pac be painted accourdingly to the color of my interior?

Can anyone tell me more about the reverse lights and the GT dual exhaust in the rear valance. Previously I was told that for my build date a factory GT car could not have reverse lights. But I thought that all late '65 and '66 GT's came standard with reverse lights.
-
I think I have put some light on the subject. I finally got the back seat out of the car. I took pictures of what I believe are the original duel exhaust supports. I believe that this should help me with verifying that it is a real GT car. Please someone help me out with this theory. Also I found a tag under my seat that I have never seen before. Can someone tell me if it has any significance? I posted the pictures at http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/brinks3447/.

I have a 1965 Mustang GT fastback. I'm trying to firgure out if it is a factory GT car. The VIN is 5F09A739693. So it is a late model '65. I don't have a door tag though and I don't know the information. I know that it is late enough for the GT option because it is an original pony interior car. I have the quick steering box and the upgraded suspention. I have front disc brakes that seem to be original but the master clynder was replaced. I have the original one and it is for front disc brakes. I have the brake line in the correct spot. I have the dual exhaust brakets on the back floor pans. When I turn on the fog lights the back lights turn on also. I have a 140 MPH dash. I do not have holes in the radiator support but I think that it was replaced. *BUT WHEN I PUT MY FINGER IN THE HOLE IN THE REAR FRAME RAIL AND BEND IT TOWARD THE REAR I FEEL NOTHING. BUT WHEN I BEND IT TOWARD THE FRONT I FEEL AN INNER BRACKET. My current dual exhaust has a bolt going through that bracket. Also my fog lamp swith seems to be original and it was in a weird place when I first got the car. It was under the dash in the hole to the left. I was told that some GT's had these weird three holes under the dash. http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/bri…mgAnch=imgAnch1
Can anybody shine some light on this subject for me please. If you want other pictures of my car they are at http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i58/brinks3447/
Thank You.

I also found out this car is not originally a black with red interior car. It was originally Nightmist Blue with Parchment interior. Someone had gotten a new door tag and changed the numbers because it doens't match the marti report. They are asking $44,900 for this car. I believe that is way to rich for me. If anybody has a '67 fastback K code that they would like to sell, please let me know. Thank you.

I am new to this site. I have been looking for a k-code for 2 years now and haven't found the one I want yet. I may have struck gold though. I am looking at purchasing this 1967 Mustang GT fastback K-code. This car is on EBay presently. My largest concern is that it is a claimed matching numbers car. The engine block is
C8AE-6015-B. Isn't that the casting number for a 1968 302? Could this possible be the right block for this car? Please tell me what you think of this car.
