I have a friend that has the original window sticker from a 69 Shelby GT 500 he sold in 1982. He is wanting to sell. Any thoughts on what it might be worth?

Just brought home a black 64 comet four door v 8 car and a 63 fairlane four door v8 cars that I saved from the car crusher this morning. I didn't need them but they were going to be lost otherwise. Lots of good trim and other parts. The mercury appears to have a late model engine. I'm still hunting in the bushes for the 63 drive train. There are six or seven drivetrains on the ground. Call me on my cell if anyone is interested. 903-388-4295 Also if this is inappropriate please feel free to remove this post immediately.

Details, I purchased it for a mustang in restoration, but have decided not to use it. From what I’ve been able to dig up, it’s either a 60’s era Paxton that was on a Shelby (not likely), or purchased through Shelby/ford parts. It’s an early supercharger, has never been apart (still has the ‘paxton’ lead stamped seal and racing wire warranty seal) and functions (4-6 PSI Boost @ 4500-5500) I have the carb hat, upper and lower, supercharger, all the bracketry, lower pulley and the optional fluid cooler that is electric/ temp controlled. The brackets are for a 289. The hat says ‘cobra’, and is chromed, but is a period piece. The mounting bracket is different from some of the earlier models that I have seen in that it has a non spring loaded idler arm pulley. I’ve included photos of it mocked up, but on a 351, so some of the bracketry near the head bolts may seem off, they’re not, they’re designed for a 289. I can be reached @ 703-216-9907 from about 2:30 pm most days, to about 11:00pm. Call or email with any questions.

I have had this for thirty plus years and would just rather trade than sell it. I've kinda been attached to it anyway. Thanks
-
Would like to trade original 1969 DZ Z-28 Camero 302 engine and original transmission for 1965 289k engine and transmission.
Z-28 motor has never been decked with original numbers. Block is .40 with aftermarket domed pistons on the original rods. Heads have been mildly ported. Crankshaft is the original crankhaft and is .10 .10
windage tray is original.
Missing are the original intake manifold, carb, and dist that I sold years ago. I currently can not locate the flywheel, clutch assembly and bellhousing, although I should still have them.
Transmission has the original shifter
and linkage less the handle. The transmission has never been rebuild and it works good with no noise.
If this is an inappropriate post please remove it without delay. Thanks.

Fred, as soon as I read your reply, I rushed right out and removed the pan gasket and found much to my disappointment 6H8C stamped in the inner side of the pan rail of the block with another C stamped upside down toward the other pan rail in the same general location.
So was this engine built by the third shift designated to become a 2v engine? There is also a P on the opposite pan rail that appears to be partially off the rail with a second P near the center below the first with a V closer to the rear main. Thanks Mike
