I think I my have seen the red Koupe with P/S and air at Pate Swap Meet last year. It was a nice looking car that looked like a read K Kar, with add ons, to me. Since I wasen't looking to buy I didn't go over it that well though.

The hole for the choke cable could have been filled in when the body work was done. When I used to paint cars, I would fill in any holes I didn't think were factory. It's much easier to drill a hole in a painted shell than fill and paint it later. If someone was looking at a non K code car for comparision, It would be easy to understand why they filled it.. Just my two cents.

Fred,
66 paint code #5, Signal Flare Red is the most
beautiful Mustang color in my opinion.
When I repainted my 67 Lime Green Shelby in 1978
I opted for Signal Flare Red with GM White Le Mans
stripes. Came out absolutely stunning and is still
on the car today.

This must be a differant Bo than the one I know. The Bo I know spends days looking for just the right color to paint his shocks and hates it if the date on the coil dosen't match the car.

I hope I did not offend anyone. Joe.
I am offended! What makes you think he is talking about Mustangs. Small minded people think the K code was started with the Mustang. Just joking!
itsahipo, I don't put much stock in N.A.D.A. According to NADA my 65 A code fastback is worth more than my K code fairlane and my 69 scj coupe Mustang combined.

I paid $18k for mine in Dec. and have been driving it ever since. The ebay car has so many good parts. It may part out for more than the sell price.

I would much rather see a realy junky looking original tag than a new one.

Sorry the pics don't show the tires very well, but I like the looks of the taller tires.
