Need 2 original nuts on firewall that hold emergency brake handle assembly. Thanks, Ed

Did some research. Unless you race the hell out of your hipo, I beleive the 15 or 20w-50 is too heavy and not necessary. I found a 10w-30 racing oil with the ZDDP required from Brad Penn. They used to be Kendall. Remember the green oil in the late 60's? Well, it is still available. I ordered 6 quarts today from Dave @ D & D oil in Clinton, NY. 315-853-6562. For more info go to amref.com. Hope this helps, ET

I have always been a stickler on staying with the viscosity called out for by Ford. I feel uncomfortable going from 10w-30 to 15w-50 but I guess it is not a big deal. If that is what we need to do to get the ZDDP required then so be it. Someone set me straight on the viscosity thing. Thanks, Ed

So much for the good old days and the simple oil change. Any decent 10w 30 and away we go. Would be great if we could all agree on which oil and possible additive is best for our hipos. I will be changing the oil at the end of the summer (currnntly using mobil 1 10w 30). I drive in the summer only and do less than 500 miles a year. Don't know what to use. Thanks, Ed

I got 3 rally pac clocks working well by squirting a little WD40 on the internal parts while turning the gears until they turn eaiser. Seems the guts get "sticky" over time. ET

Oh well, no responses. Is anyone interested in buying my hi-profile rally pac? Also...anyone have a low profile for sale. Must be 8k of course and original..not a repo. Thanks, Ed

Thanks for all your advise guys.I am going to drive it the way it is til the end of the summer. Then I will remove the carb and do my best to turn it loose without drilling. If I have no luck I will send it to Pony carb. Always something! Just this morning I went to open the trunk and the cylinder came out with the key. I suppose I need a new lock assy now. Fun Fun Fun. Good night....Ed

Went to adjust my original K carb for the first time and found the pass. side mixture screw broken off at the housing. Never saw this before. Can't turn it out. The boys at Pony carb cringed at the thought of me trying to drill it out because the carb is so rare. They sent me a new screw and spring but STRONGLY suggested I send it to them for the fix. Any other ideas? Thanks, Ed

Hello all,
Don't know why but my 6/1/65 K GT fastback has an original pony interior with a high profile 8k rally pac. Should be a low profile. Looking to swap mine for a low profile. Black is the color. Please contact me if you have one available. Thanks, Ed.

Got what I needed. Thanks, Ed

Thank you Fred...I need the left (drivers) side. Now I know what # to look for. Ed

My 65 K has a pony int. and a high profile 8k pac which apparently is not correct. I would like to trade mine for a low profile 8k pac if somebody has one. Thanks, Ed

Only Krylon for me. ET

# Stamped on the pipe. Is there a difference between the left and right tip?

Can anyone provide the Ford part #'s for the left and the right trumpet tips for a 65 GT? Do these #'s appear on the parts? Thanks, Ed

Too much red for me and I don't care for non-authentic features especially that aftermarket door tag. It tells us the Kar came with a pony interior when it did not. It's just not right.

Super job! What black did you use on the bay and where did you get the cermakrome for the ex. manifolds? Thanks, Ed

My heater hoses are supported as you describe. I beleive it to be original. Don't recall seeing that strap anywhere for sale but it probably is somewhere.
