  • Engine date codes for 1965 San Jose hipo Mustang

    Hello everyone, I am getting ready to start a restoration on an early 1965 San Jose produced hipo 289 Mustang. The car is missing its original hipo 289 motor, so I thought I would at least try to find a 289 with a date code close to what the car had originally. My Vin number starts with 152XXX. Is there someone out there with a hipo vin close to mine who may know the casting, assembly date of their block,the date codes for the heads, timing chain cover, water pump, intake, carb etc. I know this is asking a lot, but your input would be appreciated. I hope I placed this request in the proper section of this forum? Thanks, Mark

  • Original 1965/66 Fastback Side Vents

    Hi John and Troy, I sent another e mail to you John, if I took too long to respond, it is my fault, sell what you would like to Troy. The Seattle snow messed everything up this last week and then there was the holiday scramble.

    Yes Troy, these were for 003, I need everything, outer,middlers (a new word), and inners. I look forward to using your services again Troy, but the current configuration of 003 is nothing I would like to promote and I am currently trying to find nice first/second generation photos of how the car looked in 1964. When the time comes, we'll put something together.
