So, if the whole thing is Black that would be ok in concours judged shows? what about a sticker or decal? or didn't they start until 1966??

What finish should the 1965 GT (Disc brake) master cylinder be? what about the cap?

That Burgandy K Vert has been floating around for some time now.
I think it was an all out crime that someone hacked up a K Vert.
I think they had all the original engine parts though it was being sold with all the aftermarket non-stock parts on it.
This type of modification should have been done on a 6 cylinder or C code car, not a K !

I want to buy 4 original key number discs.
I am not concerned about what number is on them.
I do not want to buy NOS locksets, keys or anything else.
Just the discs themselves if you have some extras.

What can we do to try & help fix the Email server for ourselves??
Would more donations to the site help??
This is a valuable resource to us all and if its not working its kind of hard communicating.

I too saw the coupe go through and thought for the way the economy is that the price was pretty good.
I also noted that from what I saw the car had the optional 15" plain steel wheels like I've seen in Tony's book, and the guys seemed to not even have a clue as to why the car was being sold/shown WITHOUT wheelcovers!!!! (LOL) (I personally don't like the Cobra valve covers either)

Has anyone inquired to the Damper Doctor as to what they have available?
-
Well Fred if the pm system is working would you please send me one so we can figure out if you have just the correct rubber snubber itself available, and the key discs we spoke about as well. Thanks!
-
I don't know about the one that CJ is selling, but I do know that the Damper Doctor where I sent my original for a rebuild was in the process of making a correct repro, might want to check with them....
-
Yea, one day they work one day they don't, so how do we contact each other privatly??
-
send earlyk an email or pm, he knows alot about the early road draft tubes.....
-
I am not talking about one of those clones that have been talked about on here recently, I am talking about a real original correct 9" 1965 assembly all done to concours specs, with new brakes and everything execpt ebrake cables.
-
I sent you a pm early SUNDAY am 1/11 and have gotten no reply, so I assume its not working??
-
What is a correct, original cased 1965 Mustang 9" rear end complete and 100% correctly detailed, and rebuilt drum to drum, with a fresh repro tag ready to bolt in and use worth these days?
-
You might want to contact Bill Heally for a correct shifter, lots of folks on here have delt with Bill, he is the best!!!

Is the 45th celebration a National judged show as well??

Only 1 of the radiators that I'm looking at has the indentation for the fan---I, too am wondering if it SHOULD or SHOULD NOT have the indentation??? the ones I'm looking at do not have a tag like the one pictured either....
-
OK Charles, I'll have to agree with you on that as well, I wonder why none of the 4 seemingly correct Dearborn Manual trans radiators don't have a letter after the part number? does the letter designate what car that the radiator was originally installed in? it sure looks that way to me?? looks like I really need to find one with the "Y1" after the part number...
-
I've seen reference to the "DEP" before the part number but don't know what it means, and like I said earlier the radiators I'm looking at don't seem to have a letter after the C4ZE-8005 part number, so may be these are Ford service part replacements?? they are all Dearborn/Metucheon units though.....
-
I have spoken to my contact where these radiators are and he can find no "Y1" "M" or any other letter after the part numbers I listed above.....I'm thinking that the C4ZE is right, and am not real sure about the C4DE one, and the C3DI is most likely a correct size from a 1963 Falcon V8 with manual transmission, one of the C4DE units is slightly larger than the other.....wonder why this is when they both have the same part number......
