OK Charles, Thanks!! what is the "C1" for then?? I thought these radiators to be correct should have either a "G1" or "Y1" after the part number......
Also, Charles could you please send me an email to rbarkley1@cfl.rr.com as I have a question for you about the Charlotte show?? Thanks! Rick

What would a "C1" after the part number be on a Dearborn/ Metucheon unit?
-
Can anyone tell me what the "C1" and "3KC" would be after the part number?? I'm guessing the "3KC" is the date code?? how does that work?
-
Marv, Can you make this happen for us?? may be anouther catagory on the site?? like say "Transportation Needs"
-
IMO they need to do the complete line of '65-'66 Mustangs Convertible, Fastback, and Coupe.
-
Is Nate's Ebay part thought to be an original that was cut from a Kar? or a new repro??
-
Looks to me as if he is saying all Ks and '67 390 cars as well.....wouldn't a '67 K have this plate? wouldn't say something later then use this plate? like '68 390-428 cars, and 69s-I think all '69 V8 Mustangs had the 9" rear??
-
My local hometown radiator shop that I have delt with for years says he can get the needed core and install it for a hair under $250.00 and did confirm that its all copper.
Now, my question is what is the old core going to be made from if I'm able to find an original unit? copper?? so why can't I ask for the old core and take IT myself to a recycler who pays top $$ for copper?? and save even more??
-
I always thought that this plate was unique to the '65-'66 K code Mustangs only, but I could be wrong....If anyone knows his Ks its Nate, I trust his knoledge and judgement 100%
-
Isn't this one the one that was just recently acuratly reproduced?
the Arvinode system??
-
So what Mustangs are these plates used on?? we all know they are used on '65-'66 Ks, and someone is saying '67-'68 Ss.....I sure couldn't see cutting this plate out of a fairly decent body even if it ment $400.00.
I'm telling you all CONTACT "earlyk" !!
-
Mad: Is the MX2 core material indeed copper or is it aluminum?? I would think that aluminum would be cheaper??
-
Dave, Again contact Nate Miller at Buckeye-he has made exact replicas of these......he has them all made and ready to go.
-
I guess the system is not working again.
Contact "earlyk" (Nate Miller) at Nate@buckeyeresto.com hes got these.
-
This is good to hear about the core availability! and how well it works.
But can I expect to pay upwards of $500.00 for one that is correct and already freshly re-cored?
-
Is there any chance that an aluminum core is available for the 2 row radiator cheaper than copper? is the old original copper core worth much as scrap then??
-
OK, $300-$340 for the re-coreing.........how much is one going for then already done with a new core and ready to bolt in the car??
$500-$600??
-
What can I expect to pay as a ball park figure to have an original Dearborn/Metuchen 2 row core radiator re-cored?? I understand they are still doing copper for these??
-
Guys, I just realized I made a typo on the last line: I should have said "OUR" parts NOT "OUT" parts---fat fingers on the keyboard.....
