I saw a nice 65 GT Conv sell at Silver Auction in Reno during Hot August Nights 2 weeks ago for the high price of 67.5K. This was not a K, but just a nicely restored GT, and not as nice as the one Charles sold a few years ago at Scottsdale. It was nice to see Mustangs may be holding their values in this economy.

looing for a quick answer before ebay item expires...........on the 67 Mustang, factory GTA, is the speedo a 120 or 140? I know 65-66 GT's are 140......but not sure about 67's.

I may be interested in a show board for my 66 triple black, factory GT conv.

Calif Black Plates.....I heard recently thru a reliable source the Y.O.M. law pertaining to the black plates has finally passed after the 3rd try and will become law either July 2008 or 2009. YOM is Year of Manufacture.
In the case where the black plates are still registered to your car and under a "non-op" status, should just be a matter of paying the new registration. But, if they are just on the car and NOT in non-op status with DMV, then you may have a problem.

Is anyone familar with this auto trans K conv? Maybe a member is close enough to take a look in person? I am half interested, but an asking price of $68.5 seems a bit high.

This "K" automatic was advertised in Nov. by the same seller with a price of $68.5. It is in S. Carolina, and now relisted on ebay.
Is anyone familiar with this GT K conv? Anyone close enough to take a look at it?

Mustang Production Guides, Volumes 1 & 2, can be found at swap meets from the Auto Book venders. $29 is very reasonable to pay thru Amazon.

I ran into the same problem with some Wingfoots I had on my FB last year. I found a pair on ebay, almost new condition. The Wingfoot tire is no longer made. Good Luck.

Did they really want your car or the rear 1/4 fender adornment? it is a nice Kar too.

Dan, sorry to hear another K got sold out from under you. I'm suppose to pick up my 65 Caspian K convertible tomorrow from the paint shop. As you know, it was a 1 owner San Jose car before I bought it a year ago. It will be 4 sale this spring, or sooner if
someone wants to finish the cosmetics. You would look good in the drivers seat!

I snuck a peek at this car last week. Nice car. I could read the last 3 numbers on the stamped block from above and they didn't appear to match the vin on fender. The new owner (dealership) was told it was matching numbers.
I believe the pony interior and GT also added. All in all, a nice K conv., not 100% Korrect, but still a nice car.

do you have 68 buckets For Sale? I might know a buyer, what color and condition?

I just saw a pair on Craigs list in the Bay area.

Autohause Los Gatos is a dealership in Campbell, near Los Gatos that sells mostly German cars. I am curious where they got the K conv. from, as it only a few miles from me. I have asked a couple questions online thru ebay, but no answer. I plan to go take a look this week.

Charles, it being an MCA car, are you familiar with it?

Do both brands, Diamond-back and Coker dual redline radials have the raised redline, not recessed?

Probably means F-ull L-ength. Were you thinking it meant Florida?

"NOM" means......Not Original Motor.
Do you ever stop to think that maybe the owner of the car you are calling "ugly" is reading your post? It has happened in the past.
