Does anyone know of a company that does rubber dipping or coating. I have a 69 shelby convertible that has a roll bar that could use a rubber coating or something to tighten it up. Anyone have a good idea on how to improve this roll bar? Thanks guys.

Hello, Tim Shanahan here. Yes that was my car, I sold it to Burt about a month ago and he was great to work with. I purchased the original motor from the previous owner and have since sold it to Burt to get this car back together.

By the way, I sold the car because I found and purchased a 65 gtk fb. It is in my garage and I am putting parts together for it at this time.

Hello fellow K-coders. I am selling my 65 K-coupe this week. It is a very straight, very early car J464 car. The car is believed to have only 17K miles. It is a completely rust free car with no body damage. The is currently registered in CA with CA black plates. It does not have a motor, trans or exhaust but has everything else. I was going to do this car this summer, but found interest in another project. I will take pictures of the car this weekend, for those that want them. I am not certain of the cars value, so I will take best offers. I paid $10K. Thanks Tim

I purchased the one on Ebay prior to the auctions close. I paid $125 including shipping for the intake. The seller forgot to close the auction, so I placed a bid of $650, the seller then asked a friend to bid the item up, so that someone else didn't win the auction. The net of it is the seller and I bid up the intake so that the intake didn't sell to someone else in error. The intake sold for about $100, that is all. Thanks to all that tried to help. Tim

Hello, I'm looking for a early 4jxx intake for my K-code. Any help? I also have a correct 66 four speed rebuilt carb, as I am looking for a 65 of the same. Could also use a HEH-BX, have a HEH-P 25 spline that I might change to a 28 and use, unless I can find the correct tranny. Thanks

I was looking through the hipo book 3rd edition and noticed that the toploader tags were HEH-S, HEH-T or HEH-BX. Where does the HEH-P fit? What one of these is correct for my car? It seems from the toploader chart the HEH-P looks to be the right one, but the book does not offer it. Any Help? Thanks

The motor has a 4j date code on it as do the heads. I would assume it is a Sept Oct 64 build date. AS usual, I thank you for your replied.

In addition, the car is very early with a 5R07K138XXX vin and has the correct rear end plate for the third member. The car only has 16+K miles on it and is very fresh looking with all of the paint "OK" stamps and original CA black plates.

Hello guys, can you tell me if all 65 k-code cars had both the reinforcements under the seat and the frame rail reinforcements? I purchased an early 65 car today with the under seat reinforcements but did not find the reinforcements in the framerails when I placed my finger in the holes. It seems to me that this might have been the case on another K-code car I saw a few years ago. Thanks

I think I have two, Both are CA blocks and have the smog equipment still installed. One is complete and I think have a 7e date and the other is not complete, long block, no intake. Date I'll look into. I think it is a 7b.
