Just to make sure I understand correctly. I have a rebuilt k-code motor which has not been started yet. The motor was rebuilt several months ago and now I will be placing it back in the car. Is it suggested that I put 5-6 quarts of Diesel motor oil in the motor for the break in point? How long should I keep this oil in the motor after the break in point. I assume I should still do the usual 15 minute 2000 rpm initial run of the motor? Thanks for any other advice you can provide. Tim

Hello Tim here, Burt Stacy bought the car and called me a week ago to tell me that the car is almost done and he loves it. He replied to a couple of messages, so you should be able to find him on this site.

Hello, I am looking for the right side, passanger side hipo exhaust manifold for my 65 k-code. Somehow the right side was lost during the motor rebuild and now I'm in need or an original piece. Anyone out there have an odd piece. My car is a May 1965 build. I am also in the market for an original hipo fan for the same car. Please let me know. Thanks Tim

The gt350 Conv is just a great driving and looking car. They only made 400 of them and they are easier than the 500's to work on. Plus it is an automatic and I live in a hilly area and it is just easy to enjoy.

They are all different and interesting in different ways. They are all CA black plate cars.
1) 65 KGTFB Silver Smoke Grey. Pretty original other than Fan Blade. All other factory items including motor and trans.. Third Owner.
2) 65 A-code Fastback. Father Son project that should be driving this weekend. Too bad son can't drive it until I see the B average.
3)65 Gt Conv, one sweet car. Ivy Green, Green and White Pony. All options and second owner. Factory red oxide floors.
4) 67 gt500. Second owner, all original car other than one repaint from Lime to White, black interior. Never damaged.
5) 68 GT350 Gold/Black. My favorite to drive. Most likely one to keep.
6) 69 GT350 Conv Interesting car, but too big for me. Also more complex a process to restore.
7) 67 GTA Conv- Deluxe interior Acapulco Blue. All done.
I might need to keep three. I like the K-code, GT500 and GT 350 Conv. I really like the 65 GT Conv, but I can't keep them all. It is like which kid do you like better. They all have something. This is surely not the time to sell. So I will most likely keep them all until something changes. Thanks

I just wanted to let you know that I placed a few hipo parts on Ebay at no reserve. They are heads and a hipo block. If someone from the forum would like to purchase these parts, feel free to make me an offer and I'll close the auction. Thanks Tim

Hello Tom, I didn't receive your email. Send it to gtedh@yahoo.com. Or you can call me at 916-548-1255. Tim

I think the aftermarket Boss 302 works in this application.

I have your rear valance. It is a ford, just painted in Acapulco Blue. I painted a non GT for the same car and used that one. It is in very nice shape. $100 plus shipping.

My June 65 K-code San Jose Fastback has a Y2 and a date of 4-65. I believe it to be original.

Hello Rob, Tim Here. I sent you two emails in regards to your motor mounts for sale. Please either reply or send me a reply at gtedh@yahoo.com. Thanks

Yes the top piece is the same as long as it is the 7 inch plate and not the 6 inch plate. I need the complete upper mount, basicly from the top of the frame mount to the block. Thanks for your help.
