NPD has them and they're inexpensive.

It's a very nice car. Is the transverse dual set up correct; it has glass-pack style intermediate mufflers and a bracket bolted to the seat reinforcement.

Could someone with an original SS spare wheel do me a favor and take a picture of the carriage bolt, nut and washer? Also provide the size of the bolt? I can't figure out if mine is original or not. The spare mounts upside down. Thanks.

It appears to be "reserve not met".

At least you're trying!

Unless you have a lot of experience extracting broken screws I would recommend you allow a very qualified professional to do it. One misguided drill bit and you could be in real trouble.

Any of you folks plan on attending the MCA national show in Concord? Want to try and group the K's?
-
Got the covers and they look great. See you in Concord.

If you don't know the original dealership that sold your car is there a way to obtain the list of dealers that would have been served by a particular DSO?
-
It's a great looking car. It's fairly easy to take of the GT bits and return it to a non-GT, I had to do it on mine. Wouldn't this have been a transverse dual car?
-
It looks fantastic. I'm not sure how many people advocate this, but separating wires 7 & 8 to opposite ends of the valve cover loom bracket is thought to help avoid misfiring due to 7 & 8 being next to each other in the firing order.

There was no reference to your car, nor implication that it was an impostor. I was speaking only to the statistics.
-
Not arguing with the statistics, there just seem to be a lot of impostors out there masquerading as GT's or ponys.

-
It seems like there are more Pony interiors and GT's out there than were ever produced; almost to the point where a standard finish car is the rarity.

Quote from CharlesTurner
Personally, I don't subscribe to the "putting back a historically significant car back on the road" train of thought to justify a complete unibody replacement. Once the original unibody is gone, that VIN is gone.
I hate getting into discussions about re-body cars. There is never any good that comes from it. Either you're for it or against it. Generally most are against it because it's seen as an act of greed and deception. You can say all day long that it's ok "as long as the re-body work is disclosed", but somebody will end up getting burned, guaranteed.
Well said.
If a historical building were to burn down and the front door and one window were saved would it still be a legitimate piece of history if we re-built it?

The rotors are readily available in the US from a number of vendors, NAPA and NPD among others. Not sure how that translates to your market...

I'm looking for some parts to finish up my interior:
NOS door levers
NOS window cranks
65 push-on style
Also need a radiator: C4ZE Y2 W-MO 10/64 or 11-64

I have yet to find any photos of the Arvinode system other than the photos that Charles has of the older system that was removed from a car during restoration. If I recall, the longer glass-packs on the front had a crimp along the top. The ebay system seems to be plain round glass-packs.

I've been using this one for about two years. Very easy: browse and find your image, click to resize, then upload. The link you want to use is the "hotlink for forums" that is next to the bottom of the page.
