I know there is one other thread beside this one, but danged if I can find it. I was asking that same question about SJ cars recently:
-
Marv sells them.
-
Thanks Murf. I emailed Jim and he responded promptly. $40 including shipping.

Did 69 302s have a big damper?
-
If you check in Bob Mannel's book you will see a well detailed photo of the various valves Ford was supplying. I found mine in the wrecking yard on a 64 F series pick up with a 390.
-
I seem to recall that ebay car as having been in Florida.
-
Thanks to everyone that has posted on this inquiry. If you have not had a chance to list your shifter as angled or curved lever that would also be helpful. Thanks, again.
-
It would be great to have a one owner car and know the car's history. I imagine the Connelly hides would have been custom made.
-
You really don't have a choice with the evolution of fuels; get the hardened seats.
-
It will be interesting to see how it faires at BJ. Pretty car, but it looks like it needs a little elbow grease to make it happy.

You are correct on the clamp being a distinguishing feature. We believe this is an original Arvinode resonator on an early convertible that was photographed at the K Day show. It is thicker and shorter than the standard dual resonator. It is missing the appropriate band clamp to hold it in place.

When I see a car like this for sale I always wonder who ended up with the original engine parts? Machine shop employee, restoration shop, the PO?????
-
Without advocating that you break the law
:People with one good plate have been known to buy the second one from this company, but you need an out of state shipping address for CA.

Scott Drake produces them in both colors. There are a lot of early cars running around with the darker color and it is incorrect.
-
Troy - I love that reflection you have in the convertible picture!

I have a couple of extra hood latches that are left over from a bunch of parts that I had Steve Gregori phosphate for me. $40 each.

No disrespect intended, but it sounds like it will be a big ugly cap that looks like someone painted it when you're done.

You might want to post this over on the Vintage Mustang Forum to hit a broader audience.
