Does anyone have a picture of an original or NOS GT sway bar bushing they could post? I'm trying to come up with a set and not sure who is selling the correct reproductions.

Just cleaned mine up today (again). No part number and only a remnant of a battle weary logo.

Looks like the original button-top fuel pump stayed with the car when the motors were swapped out.

The first post on this car was in May last year. Give it a few more weeks and it will be one year of dealer to dealer sales! Talk about churning your own account:)

The bracket location is on the far left side of the dash with the foot of the L pointed toward the driver.

You should also jack up the car and rotate the tires so all the stems are neatly aligned at 6 o'clock:) Be sure to carry the jack and correct this condition each time you park

What a neat car. About the only thing that's funky is that tach. A big fat Rotunda or Sun in a chrome cup would do the job.

I have a Ford drivers side remote mirror on my car now with a DMI 12/65 date code on the mirror, and a Ford day night mirror, and a repro passenger side that matches the remote. These were not originally on the car to the car and I'd like to trade them for a pair of original standard side view mirrors and a standard rear view. If anyone is interested please send PM. Thanks.

You might get more interest with some pictures and background on the car........

Could be a Shelby owner in need of a top tank. Add to that an original style two row core and it starts to make some sense. (Though not much.) We're also very close to the start of show season and it's time to get them on the road.

The sale includes intent to finish and, hopefully, the knowledge to do it correctly.

There is a torque spec for the U bolt that is worth paying attention to. There is more stretch in those U bolts than you might think and it takes a bit to pull them down evenly. Not a bad idea to put on fresh lock nuts either.

Can you please share the photos with us and your build date and plant info? Thanks.

Quote from bobmannel
Driver's side wires went through both separators in a 7,5,6,8 order. #7 then went over 5,6 on its way to the spark plug.
For those that may not have encountered this before, Ford split 7 & 8 in the loom as Bob has noted to separate two wires that were sequential in the firing order; 15426378. It is possible for two wires in close physical proximity and sequence in firing order to cross fire. I've never had it happen, but it's a valid theory and a reason to separate the wires.

This poor car.........
Every dealer on the planet has tried to make money on it.

Fred,
Can you take a look at your early MPC and see what Ford shows for the part numbers for 65 and 66 for these wheels?

It makes sense that the non-metallic plug wires would have been paired up with the radio suppression components if they were trying to civilize the cars with radios.
