I have a real nice 1966 Model year 289 HIPO short block. It is a an original HIPO block. Measuring the bore it appears to be standard (never bored) with a 4.00 inch cylinder diameter. All the caps are still with the block. The casting date on the block is 5M1 (December 1st 1965). I'm asking $2900/best offer for the block. The block is located in northern Virginia.

I'm looking for a 1966 Mustang Carb 2100 2 BBL series C6DF-B for my January '66 build car. I would expect a November or December '65 Dated carb would work nicely. I'm looking for a clean and complete core I can rebuild and drive with. Thanks

I have an ultra rare set of 11/64 dated rear "Special D" Konis that came on one of the first 100 GT350s.
I need a front pair of "Special D" Konis either 3/65 or 4/65 dated.

Guys,
What about the steering box being "blacked out" on top? Charles you show this in your blog, but I seem to be getting conflicting answers on the Shelbys that were built at San Jose in the spring of '65? THis seems to be a major detailing difference for these cars anyway...

I have a '66 Underdash unit I've been restoring, but discovered one fan on the right side of the unit is damaged (bent). Does anyone have a "parts" unit to sell? or better yet a replacement fan. The one I have is marked "Torrington". Any help would be appreciated.

Brant,
They're out there, but expect to pay north of $1800 just for a rebuildable core. I believe JD Larson had one and was asking $2500 for it. Good luck.

I'm in need of a '65 GT Underdash wiring harness to refurbish for my '65 GT. I would prefer a harness that's not cut if possible. I also need the GT instrument cluster with the loop on the back for the amp meter. Please email me at wandccampbell@hotmail.com.
Thanks

Cleaning out the garage and found an original '65 style (high profile) Fomoco Rally Pac. Bench testing the clock and tach everything seems to work fine. What's it worth? Make me an offer.

Sorry guys for the confusion. Is there a place for non-K Mustangs like there is for parts? This car is an A code GT NOT hipo. I apologize for that.
