While talking about scams, I got a request to
pay for an item I had supposedly won a couple of days ago.
The problem is I never bid on it so I checked
it by the number and found out who won and what
it was. It was some female clothes and so far I
have not starting to wear female clothes.
Reported it to ebay and they responded with a standard
email and said they will look into it within 72 hours.
I am afraid I will get negative feedback for something
I was never involved in.
Also, several times I have got requests from paypal
that my account must be updated and it was really a scam.
Somebody uses paypal web-page to get my account number.
I can't understand why the FBI don't go after these scammers.
It is possible and these dirtbags should be put away for good

Hi,
Go to Autozone,Napa or somebody and buy their
radiator overflow tubing. It's black and
has the correct size 5/16"x30" and is made
by Fresh Start in the USA, Part Number 5151.
I tried like crazy to find some correct standard
hose/tube to use before I found this. Think I had to
cut it to the correct length.
Good luck.

I agree with you about Krylon.
That's what I used as well.

Well, these pictures show the 65 standard interior
type rally pack and Rene has the 65 pony interior/
66 type.

Hi,
This was discussed, in detail, some time ago
and you can find more information by performing
an advanced search. Don't forget to check archived
posts.

Yes, at least my May 65 did.
/Bo
Hi Tom,
The date code on your 4201 is Dec 1, 1966.
Could very well be the original to your car.
/Bo
Thanks Charles,
It looks like 131 E5 even though the
third figure (1) is difficult to see.
Maybe that means day 131 in 65 which would
translate to May 65. A friend has exactly
the same dates on his 65 Shelby which was
produced at Ford in the end of May.
The springs I need should probably be around
120 E5 to match my May 5-10 prod.date.
Anybody has a pair? Have stuff to trade or
will buy outright.
Thanks,
/Bo
Hi Charles,
What about how to read the date codes?
Do you know?
Thanks,
/Bo
Hi,
Shelby actually used the 67 Thunderbird
wheelcovers and put his own emblem over
the Thunderbird one.
Many years ago, in Sweden, I found 4 of the
Shelby covers at a swapmeet for $30. Never
used them though. Still have them over there.

I have been thinking the same thing
about the E but have no proof. Used to
believe it was a part of the date code
but as all cars seems to have the E
it could be the manufacturer's abbreviation.
/Bo
Another qustion about leaf springs.
How do you read the date codes and
what does the E stand for? Every spring
I have seen has the E on them, both for HiPo's
and non-HiPo's.
Example 131 E5, does it mean the 131:st
day of 1965?
Thanks,
/Bo
Hi guys,
Does anybody have an extra pair of 1965
Fastback bottom leafs. My springs were given to
a friend back in 1988-89 when I replaced my originals
and correct markings etc. didn't mean that much.
They must be marked:
C4ZA-5556-K, L, S or Y (preferably S) and dated not later
than May 3 1965. Thanks for your help.
/Bo
Done by a previous owner as the Shelbys were
lowered at Shelby's factory and not at Ford.

Hi,
I had the same problem but between 2nd
and 3rd gear. Had to double clutch to get
it (T10M1) into 3rd gear. Put in another
shifter and everything worked fine after
that.

Thanks Charles,
Is it the date code on the fenders or did
they mark both the fenders and frame rail
with "what number"?
Thanks,
/Bo
Thanks a million Matt,
This is what I suspected. I have a
Ford replacement in my car and will have to
change it. Again thanks.
