I have two 66 Mustangs. Neither is a Hipo unfortunately. I have owned/restored many over the years and the first car I ever purchased for myself was a 65 coupe in !969. I was 19 years old. I joined the Hipo site for several reasons. One is because age has taught me I don't know everything, and life has taught me I may some day know nothing at all.
Memory is your most valuable possession, but it can also be your biggest enemy. Another reason I joined the Hipo exchange; Some of the things I have accomplished in life, restoring a beautiful 66 GT fastback four speed 289 with many of the Hipo extras, the one exception being the Hipo engines absence, being one of them, has left me at a loss at times for remembering some of the technical details that were once part of my every day thoughts. I can find the answers, but it's the people those answers come from that provide the memories, the motivation and the magic.
And lastly. perhaps the least of all, is any gratuity many years of experience working these fine cars becomes, some small way, an opportunity for me to give back to some of you.
