Reading this exchange of postings I understand you have moved back to the States. I just returned from a 3 year period in Spain.
I hope you will succeed in selling this beautifull K code and that the new owner will become as happy as I still am with my K code I bought from you a couple of years ago.

The good thing is the fact that people who do know what they are talking about(looking at) do react always very enthousiastic.
And that is always very nice and makes you feel good. I learned to appreciate them so much, that I do not pay any attention anymore to the other group of so called 'specialists'.
These people who are questioning each time, over and over again, not having a good look or not knowing what they are talking about, simply have a problem. It is causing them to say as well that your Rolex is not a real one, that you probably have been able to restore your Mustang with drugsmoney, that it is the bank who owns the car and that the paintjob is done poorly.
Well, luckely there are more people around that appreciate what they see, leave the people in their value and let people enjoy, even if it is not an original....
Finally, after being 1 year in Spain, there was an event in my neighbourhood, which I was able to attend, thanks to a very friendly Mustang Club in Spain who invited me to come and join.
The event took place on the former Formula 1 circuit called Jarama, just 15 kilometers to the north of Madrid, the capital of Spain.
It was what they called an Open Day for classic cars and according to the participants list there were about 15 classic cars club coming.
For me the first time to get in touch with some old Mustangs which you will not see so often here. As you may know Spain has been led by a certain gentleman for about 30 years, who more or less forbid everything coming from the States. And according to my information no K-codes overhere. (There is however 1 listed in the 4th registry)
At 9 in the morning we were expected, and as good citizeb we were on time, but this is Spain.....you are not supposed to be on time. So at 0915 it looked like this, only 4 other Mustangs had arrived.

We were received in a very friendly way and with very enthousiastic reactions to the K. Which is every time again a very nice experience.
Well cars were getting in more and more, from small ones like the Fiat (Seat) 500's to the big ones. With a huge participation from makes like Ford Capri (German Ford). Renault 5 Turbo club and the older ones like Simca 1000 and the renault Dauphine. (It wil probably mean nothing to you.....)

Well and then it happened....where is the owner of the black high performance fastback with these strange license plates....why are you asking.....well we have here a TV crew.....they want to interview and shoot some nice pics....yes but my spanish is not that good yet..... and I am not dressed you know....Well before I knew I had a microphone spelled up and stood behind my door telling all the nice things about Mustangs and more specific about our 271 HP babes......

When finished it became time to get the helmets out of the car because each club was allowed a 15 minutes drive on the circuit. Initially I was a bit hesitating because we had already seen some serious damage of the other clubs that were before us. Apparently once on the circuit there quite a number of people that do think of themselves as being the new worldchampion in Fomula 1, specifically here in Spain.......
But ok, with my eyes in both mirrors, not exactly following the ideal racing line, we managed and had a lot of fun. It looked like this:

After the rounds on the circuit, following a good Spanish behavior it was time the eat, to eat, to drink and to drink, in other words the social aspect of this kind of events is very important here and well appriciated by everybody.
And then it is time to leave which was captured by somebody who's pics I have used to end this little story on our event.
