I need a bell housing for a 5 bolt block that will fit a 3 speed C-4. They are found on 260 V-8, 64 1/2 Mustang, and also 64 Galaxie's with the three speed C-4 and the five bolt 289. Anyone? Thanks, its for my Resto 66' vert w/ 5 bolt hipo. Yikes! Help!

I've decided to put emblems on my '66 restomod. The question facing me now is, " how do I get them placed correctly?" is there a template, or??? Ideas? Thanks.

I have a pristine, complete hipo C-4 that I bought to learn about its special parts, but found my answers without opening it up. I can supply pictures . Send a PM. Thanks!

I put a Trac Lock in mine, or more correctly, had one put in, no problem.

What is being said here is that all we are left with are educated guesses...We here at the forum and the registry can only account for the ones that are REPORTED...

Tri-Y's would probably be louder....the question remains, who makes them that fit, that drop in and don't need to be modified...I bought a stainless set from Cleveland and they were wrong in so many ways, of course they claimed they were a drop-in fit..NOT. So who has found a set that fits and where did you get them.???

I may be wrong but Tri-Y's would be a serious departure from stock, like a big Holly. My insurance asks if its stock....and the exhaust system, with H pipe , etc., even with different mufflers, would still be stock as long as there were mufflers....my two cents.

My 66' has a really noisy am radio/8 track and if I were to get a noise suppressor that worked, where would I find one? Its not internal to the alternator, is it?. Anyone know someone who can restore this unit?

Amsoil just came out with an upgraded line of gear oil, superior to all others including other synthetic oils....independent testing results show. I am not a dealer but the info was sent to me...you might want to check their website since you have the winter to investigate your options. It might be way cheaper to change oil than to rebuild the trany..

I take it your block cleaned at .020 ? sometimes 4.020 is not enough to totally " clean " the cylinder walls and make them uniform... When you go to .020, do you hand fit the rings, or can you buy rings that are correct for the bore size....? do the rings come with the pistons or do you buy the rings separately, and what rings do you recommend?
