Hi all. I’m a young guy and fairly new to cars, especially classics, but I got a k code coupe last year. It’s in good driving condition now but the clutch on this car is very strange. It feels like the clutch is either in or out. There’s only about an inch of play from where the clutch starts to engage and when it’s fully engaged. It makes this car so hard to drive smooth and it doesn’t help this is my first manual car. I’ve had a few other people drive the car who have owned classics for their whole lives and they even said it was weird. I recently put in a new stock clutch so it can’t be that. Maybe it’s the clutch rod or z-bar? Any ideas of what it could be would be great. Thanks.
