GM E.O.S. is specifically used/formulated as an engine assembly lubricate & recommends it only be used for specific purpose. On the back of the bottle it says GM does not recommend the use of this product as an additive to engine oil.

There has been a lot writen about oil & flat tappet cams. Has anyone experienced a cam shaft failure (after correct new camshaft break in procedure) due to the type of oil used in their 289 Hipo?

Both Hipo & regular 289 used the same C3OE-6380-B flywheel casting.

The Hipo flywheel was balanced to 30.4 oz.in. while the regular 289 was balanced to 26.2 oz.in. When Ford went to 28 oz. balance for the regular 289 they changed the casting number.

The March issue of Mustang Times lists the national show classes for 2007. Division I Concours Driven Class PS 1964 1/2 - 73 Trailered. Can you now trailer a car to a national show & have it judged (gold/silver/bronze) in the concours driven class?

To solve the accumulation of dirt on the EXTERIOR glass/windshield OEM manufactures recommend the use of Bon Ami & plenty of water to properly clean the windshield.
