    Hello all!

    I am a fellow K code owner (5F09K329622) that I have owned since 1987. Restored in 2008.

Anyway, I am also a dealer for All Classic Parts.

I do this as a fellow enthusiast.

If any of you need anything that ACP provides, I will be more than happy to get parts for you at a discounted price.

I can drop ship to you. Or, can list on eBay for you.

I use Paypal to protect you and me.

If you need anything that ACP has available and want a price, let me know!

    Thank you,

    David Kennedy

Please accept my apologies if this has been addressed before, my search didn't turn up anything.

Is anyone making the eKschange T-shirts or other "goodies" that were available in the past?

I would be very interested in some os the items, particularly T-shirts as mine is very worn. (It did make a trip across the pond to England, Ireland and Scotland in 2008!).

If no one is making them, I'm a retired printer and may be able to have a few things produced.

However, I do not want to step on anyone's toes or violate any protected products.

Just a thought as I relax from my enjoyable Thanksgiving.

    Cheers!

Hi! I used to be a member years ago and just happened upon this site. I'm very happy that it is here!

I have a 1965 hipo fastback that was originally a demo car. Restored in 2008. It turned 57 on the 21st of October.

I am wanting to finance some things on my 07 GT by moving some spare hipo parts, but I am not sure where to start price wise. Here is what I plan on selling first:

2 heads. Both with 19. One 7E8 and one 7E11. Both would need to be restored. Both are C7ZE.

Crankshaft. I don't know where to look for a part number or date code on this so if someone could tell me I will get that info out there too.

8 connecting rods with Ford pistons. I still have to find these in my mess.

I will also post pictures when I list the parts.

Any help that you can give would be appreciated. I will offer all hipo specific parts here first as I feel they should be in an enthusiasts hands.

Also the weather in the St. Louis area is fantastic today. No humidity! Woo Hoo!! Took the K Kar out for a ride with my bride today and had a blast.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

We had a great time! Only saw one Mustang in Ireland and one current Shelby in South London in a rental lot.

Sorry for the large photos, but tinypic is not co-operating.

After 3 long years of restoration the kar is finally home! I will post more pics later on as I want to go over it with a fine tooth comb and make sure all is well.

This is a photo of my 2007 hipo 281 and my 1965 hipo 289. More to follow soon!

O.K. for everyone that has ever seen "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks and Shelly Long you will understand that "my two weeks" has finally arrived! The rear end noise is gone, the paint has been fixed and it just needs a final cleanup before it is mine again.

My question though is, what old parts are worth keeping? I have a lot of stuff that I just bought repos of because the cost was cheaper than re-chroming, etc. For instance, I have the original seat backs that are "Quality Control Certified Sep 26, 1964" they aren't in terrible shape, but not really nice enough to put in my newly restored car. Should I keep them for posterity? See if someone else can use them? I don't know, but I DO know that my wife will want a pretty good explanation if I keep a bunch of old parts around!!

I have the old bumpers, intake, starter, oil pump, tail lights, etc, etc, etc. I really don't want to keep much of it but will anyone else want it either?

Sorry for my rambling, but my wife will want to know!!

Your advice and suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    David K

Here are some more shots taken today 4/25/08.

The rear end is still "whining", so I wait some more for that to be fixed....

Still needs final sand and buff.

My wife and son. Son is in the Army, leaving for Iraq next month.

Me and my son. I am the ugly one!

He got his first ride in the kar since he was just 4 years old!

    A little before action.
