Nice looking car. However, unless I read the tag wrong it is to early to be a factory GT or factory Deluxe Interior (Pony). O' well.

you're right about that - as a matter of fact this one is just about as early as they get
Welcome to the board.
Count me in too
May I suggest that everyone carry a fire extinguisher with them.
While cruising around town today I came up behind the car pictured below while it was experiencing an engine fire. Someone else was already waving wildly at him to pull over and he did so just in time. The owner popped the hood and I was able to put out the fire before A LOT more damage was done. The fire truck showed up about 5 minutes later.

I just noticed this pic and remembered this post - figured it might be of interest.
It is from this site: Pete Ruff's Previous 1965 K 2 2
It's an early San Jose car.

Yikes, I wrapped my first car (a 65 Coupe) around a tree too <img src=images/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
Yee-ha, a stampede of wild ponies couldn't keep me away ! !
on the other hand 110 degrees - that'll keep me away - let's hope it's not as hot as the last BAMA show.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
I may get booted from HPM for posting this but I could not resist:

My question is, what was the fender insignia used for that's shown on pg. 95 in the book?

You may want to have a read through this thread as well:
GREAT to have HPM.com with its current high performance.
Any chance the maintenance could become a monthly tune up?
