I have also used Mobil 1 15w-50 for 20 plus years with zero issues. . Exceeds the recommended zinc requirements without any other additional additives.

I will be replacing the head gaskets on my original and unmodified motor this spring. Had one fail externally (nothing in the oil) Any recommendations on a book gasket to use an/or anytime doing the job? I have done them before but never on a K motor. Thanks!

Hello! I was a member here years ago and am very happy to see what site up and running again. I still have my 65 K Coupe which I have owned since 1996. I recognize some the members from years ago, glad to see the K brigades is still alive and well! Looking forward to posting and learning!
