G'day Jar
Welcome aboard.
Been interested in K codes a long time but only recently finally made the dive myself. The key I decided, aside from the usual buying a 40+ year old mustang. Was knowing the important and hard to find K stuff. That way when buying a car like you described with things amiss you, know what it will take to restore it to the standard you wont and pay accordingly.
and double check all resources.

Thanks Guys
Think I'll give the bar a go.

Ben
Do you get any movement in the bar without the additional holes being done?
G'day Everyone
I'm trying to decide whether to change to a heavy duty export brace and/or Monte Carlo bar. On previous cars I have changed to the heavy duty export brace and loved the improvement as my area has a lot of round abouts.
Does the heavy duty export brace effect the cars value, as I see a lot with them?
Would just the Monte Carlo bar be a more passive addition from original?

Its a valuable resource and would be great to see it up and running again.

Thanks Fred
This photo is a little further across and shows the tapper.

G'day Everyone
According to the 4th addition book the 65 diff pumpkin was round and the 66 was more flat with an extension for the ring gear.
What ball park time did this change happen?
I'm looking at a May02 1966 vehicle that looks to have the 65 style.

Ben
Looks respectable in the photos, not a very common colour.
G'day Everyone
Take it easy I'm a virgin poster and new to K's.
I'm wondering if anyone knows the below vehicle or can offer any feed back. Little short on information at this point but supposedly its all k correct but the car has a tremec 5 speed conversion along with the disc brake front and booster.
Ball park value?
Anyone know of any other good K coupes?

G'day
Just missed out on buying this threads vehicle, may have acted a little faster if I had seen the thread before hand and been able to trace further back ground. But thought an update on it might be in order.
It seems it was bought out to OZ by a dealer in Sydney who has just re sold it. I believe it is now finding a new home in Melbourne.
I imagine he got the $38,500AUS asking price.
Cheers
