    Does anybody have any ideal as to who supplies the best, correctness,best fit, interior trim? I'm refering to carpet, door panels, etc. Any help would be apericiated. Thanks in advance Fordnut.

  • early 65 question

    if i understand tony's book correctly, 64 1/2 -65 color code s is 64 1/2 only. my fastback has a build date 04a (door tag) yet a color code s. i guess its a special order color on a 65? haven't found a build sheet yet, any idea's? also, anybody have any input on interior pieces? carpet, door panels, upholstery, wetherstrips, etc. as far as correctness, fit, etc. branda, npd, paddock? have i opened a can of worms or what? thanks fordnut

    thanks for all the information to all, this web site is excellent. after some scrubing, and scrapping in the right place, found the vin on the block, it matches all the others on the car. I'm one happy camper. not that it makes any difference, it's not going to be up for sale anyway. thanks again for the help. something interresting, the car was build january 4, 65, the heads are both date coded 21-4m9, the block is 4m12. seems like a rather short window to me. who knows.

  • vin number on block

    curious, what is the location of the vin number on the block? found it on the bottom of the trans. main case, but haven't found it anywhere on the block. is it on all the blocks?
